I went to college with Harmony (Freeway’s daughter) and she was such a kind and caring soul. When she passed it hit me hard because she was someone i consider a dear friend. I remember when we’d just chop it up after class and talk about the dumbest things, i can tell she was an open book but still had her own secrets. She wanted to stand on her own and have her own legacy and i hope she knows that she left all pf her friends with something when she passed. We miss you everyday Harmony, rest in peace

facts, one of the best introductions to the rap game in history….with that 1900 Hustler verse! and even tho he loss the battle to Cass, he won the war! They both dropped their first albums after that, and Free’s album was more classic in the streets and sold more units! Them songs still get play til this day, especially the one with Nate Dogg (RIP) 🔥🔥🔥

1999 my college roommate at West Chester Univ, right outside of Philly was like this rapper name Freeway from my block about to sign with Jay Z. We all like yea sure. Then the Too Raw for the Street dvd came out and he was on it. 2/3 weeks later 1900 Hustler dropped.

Philadelphia Freeway is only second to albums by Jay Z from that Rocafella era. That album was slept on by a lot of people. I still bump that to this day. Praise God Free is healthy and able to continue doin his thing. Props to Adam for giving this man the platform and exposure to his audience. 🙏
