Listening to Freeway Ricky shows me that in life there are so many roads you can go down. He could have EASILY been the CEO of a legit million dollar company. He just choose the wrong path in life. The statement that stood out to to me was when he said " He always starts by looking at things from the other persons point of view" Sounds like something so simple, but is so profound at the same time.

@andrewhawkinsiii
@andrewhawkinsiii 5 жыл бұрын
I don't think he is saying apply for a CEO job like it's a regular fucking gig. I think he is saying that Freeway is smart as shit and shows the aptitude to have been the head of some large-scale legit operation if given the path at an early age like most of the fucks who are groomed for those positions. Most of them probably couldn't hold a candle to Rick.

Drew Hawk oh i totally agree, but when he says things like "he chose the vwrong path" and "he could have easily been a CEO" is kind of a condescending. he could have been a janitor right now and this guys all "you coulda been a ceo"... sorry, im a literal person so his whole comment kind of irked me

Just listening to him one can understand how he survived the game for so long. He sounds like a straight up guy to deal with. Straight up people one can trust, The game is ruthless to those out to be shady. But to those who have some dam brains, They can make money I once hustled to put a roof over my head and food on my plate, But I was also working a trade, It took years at the trade in order to drop the hustle But I knew at some point the bottom would fall out of the hustle and I didnt want to be holding the bag, The best advice I can give someone is not to sell or get too friendly with those in your apartment building. Saved my ass once, Police knocked in 3 doors on night, But not mine, I wouldn't even smoke a joint with a neighbor for over a year. That gave me time to really check out peoples hearts. I knew a real high level dealer once, His advice was dont get greedy, If the deal dont feel right back out. Trust that inner voice, I listened and never was popped and neither was he

There is so much to be taken from this man's experience,one of the heavy facts is that money is what motivates us all,what you do with that motivation,and where you allow it to take you is what defines you the end. It just so happens when he did it,was the same time those in power were doing whatever it took to obtain it. Including taking someone's life away to sustain that profit. Soo much more then who was trappin and supplying in his documentary.

Bro this is dope and I got out of dealing 2 years ago, it’s crazy to see on a scale 1000x bigger he did the same. But I remember buying my connect, meeting the guy and we were friends. Like watched naruto and Shane Dawson conspiracies. Him being known as a scary dude was funny. But all my middle man connects was just money exchange. The scary guy was a friend after lol

It’s a shame Ross didn’t see from the point of view of the family members distraught over their loved ones destroying their lives because of their cocaine habit, or from the point of view of the mothers and fathers of children killed in the drug game. Ross’s story is very interesting and he appears affable and cuddly, but never forget this man is responsible for causing an ENORMOUS amount of misery in countless communities across America and beyond. He should not be seen as an idol or a role model.

Wow, you can tell the difference between a gangster rapper/thug type rapper answering Vlads questions and Ricky answering. Some of the rapper types have an insecurity talking about their historyand apparent criminal activities, (likely exaggerated for the effect of a good song), but RIcky has none of this, its straight relaxed eye contact, blatantly honest answers. Amazing.
