Listening to Freeway Ricky shows me that in life there are so many roads you can go down. He could have EASILY been the CEO of a legit million dollar company. He just choose the wrong path in life. The statement that stood out to to me was when he said " He always starts by looking at things from the other persons point of view" Sounds like something so simple, but is so profound at the same time.

Just listening to him one can understand how he survived the game for so long. He sounds like a straight up guy to deal with. Straight up people one can trust, The game is ruthless to those out to be shady. But to those who have some dam brains, They can make money I once hustled to put a roof over my head and food on my plate, But I was also working a trade, It took years at the trade in order to drop the hustle But I knew at some point the bottom would fall out of the hustle and I didnt want to be holding the bag, The best advice I can give someone is not to sell or get too friendly with those in your apartment building. Saved my ass once, Police knocked in 3 doors on night, But not mine, I wouldn't even smoke a joint with a neighbor for over a year. That gave me time to really check out peoples hearts. I knew a real high level dealer once, His advice was dont get greedy, If the deal dont feel right back out. Trust that inner voice, I listened and never was popped and neither was he

There is so much to be taken from this man's experience, one of the heavy facts is that money is what motivates us all, what you do with that motivation, and where you allow it to take you is what defines you the end. It just so happens when he did it,was the same time those in power were doing whatever it took to obtain it. Including taking someone's life away to sustain that profit. Soo much more then who was trappin and supplying in his documentary.
