Carl opted for the base gray version from Motion RC so he could scheme it as a 'Jolly Roger' version with decals from Callie Graphics. Some nice fast, slow passes and scale aerobatics in this flight. Fitted out with the centre burner from The RC Geek, it was interesting to see if it would actually show up on a bright sunny day. What do you think?

Very scale-like. I've always liked the VF-84 scheme; black and yellow go together well -and Skull+Bones=Ok. Go Jolly Rogers!

Very nice flight, nothing fancy but showing the ability this model is capable of, make make me want to get one, but I fly like a rock, excellent camera work and thanks again for a very pleasant video

I don't understand why such a video is rated negatively? A beautiful model with the best technology today. A pilot who controlled the model super, really perfect. A chamber tour about which I have at least nothing to complain about and which I followed with relish. Why the heck rate it negatively - where is the mistake? In people's minds maybe? Why? Does somebody know?

Only 2 down thumbs but proof that down thumbs is an utterly pointless concept. At minimum it should emulate Facebook so you can see who did it.

I think negative reviews are very good when I can understand them because I always take people seriously first. But if I can't find a mistake, I think. By what standards do some people judge - political correctness? Or just emotional because envy and resentment play a role? Unfortunately, there is rarely a reason in the comments so that I could at least accept it even if I disagree. For example, I find it regrettable how my very differentiated German language is squeezed into awkward English words. Much detailed information is lost there.

Nah just major crosswind that day. I've since added a gyro which helps a lot

The gear doors look like they're very close to snagging on the grass during landing. If the grass is any longer, or the landing any harder, they may rip off?

I've personally not had this issue. And I've landed her on much rougher ground than this. See one of our earlier videos of this same jet flown from a much smaller field

No this was filmed still on the original stock out runner. I have since upgraded to an in runner and twin light burner. 👌

Awesome, did you notice any difference on the inrunner? Can I ask what pack you were flying and do you have a gyro?

@@n3cr0sc0pe Again at the time of this video I didn't have a gyro in it. But I have since installed the Hobby Eagle A3 Pro3 gyro which has made a big improvement on windy days. In terms of the in runner. It is definitely faster but not much more thrust in terms of torque. And the pack I use is the Admiral 6000 50c

Don't buy RC models from Facebook ads or KZfaq pre-video ads...you often don't get what you pay for.

The one used in those rip off ads is the freewing F14 tomcat. This is an F18. But yes as mentioned above dont buy through those ads. If it seems too good to be true it usually is. You won't get the freewing F14. If you're lucky you'll get a crappy little toy. If you're unlucky you'll never see anything or your money back
