I've had conversations like this because I'M the colourblind guy. I constantly confuse blue with purple and apparently when I was a toddler, I drew a picture of a field but the grass was orange and the teacher thought I wanted to set the world on fire.

The ending caught me off guard 😭

Was in this exact same position my freshman year of high school. Was playing uno with some buddies in my rti period and this one guy I knew was color blind. Now I knew that, and had for a few years now, but in the heat of the moment I wasn’t really thinking about it. It was a pretty tight game and I tend to subconsciously raise my voice when anything starts getting intense. So I put a wild card down, said whatever color it was, and when my buddy asked which it was a loudly asked if he was color blind, only to be met with a deadpan “Yes” and laughter

Y’know, considering Frieza’s only ever acknowledged the golden glow of Super Saiyan and the “blue hair dye” of Super Saiyan Blue, but never any other form Goku uses, you really wouldn’t know if he is colorblind like this or not. Seeing Frieza playing uno with the boys is actually pretty wholesome.

The weird thing is that sooner or later it's very possible Freiza would play card games with the squad in an attempt to beat them at their own Earth games. He's more like a true rival now with a "humiliate and surpass your" attitude and less of a "I'm weaker than you and still just kill you" type.

Maybe Frieza isn't colorblind, he's just traumatized by the yellowness of Super Saiyans.

You know what? There are workarounds for this situation. You could try finding alternative ways to signal what color a card is. Examples that come to mind: Adding textures to the cards or cutting off a specific corner for each card in that color.

In his defense: colors are part of culture as well. I think the Japanese used to treat blue and green as the same color until relatively recently
