Juan María joins MPDA for an inspiring review on the quest for lightness in the by Frei Otto, in the context of Studio2 building system design.
Ph. D. in Architecture and Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), he belongs to its Department of Architectural Composition. His research areas include different topics such as Theory and History of Architecture, Aesthetics in Civil Engineering, and Frei Otto and Light Structures. He held a position as an Assistant Director for Research at the School of Architecture at UPV, and is now the Editor-in-Chief of “VLC arquitectura Research Journal”, published by UPV.
He is also a jury member in research projects assessment panels for the State Research Agency (AEI) of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
