There was a real steam spectacle in Thuringia on 23 March 2024. The Nostalgiefahrten Bebra railway was travelling with 58 311 from Bebra via Eisenach and Schmalkalden to Arnstadt and back. At virtually the same time, Nostalgiezugreisen was travelling from Eisenach to Meiningen with 01 1104 and 50 3501. Both locomotives had to show off here to take the special train with 11 carriages over the heights of the Thuringian Forest.
