Francisco, remember the guy you met standing in the parts line at freighter Fontana? I said you are a light house for those of us trying to find safe harbor? Well you were my light house tonight. I started the truck tonight in Terrell Texas. Not building air. I've been noticing slow build the last few days. I have to deliver my load in a few hours. No help anywhere on a holiday. I did a bypass on the air dryer and woo hoo... I'm rolling again. I'll be at a shop after I deliver minus a tow minus a road call minus stress. Thanks my friend!!!

Do you have a video of how to replace this on a T680?I am on the side of the road right now. No air leak. But my truck won't build pressure and my trailer is loaded. Is there a way to bypass the governor, etc so that I can build up enough air pressure to make it to the Kenneth dealership?

If its frozen in there or stuck its probably gummed up so how yould you clean it? Brake cleaner om a rag and just push it in the hole?

Hi Francisco. Your videos have taught me a lot. I recently replaced my air dryer. But a few weeks later the 1/8" hose from the air dryer came off not from the dryer end but where it hooks up at the other end. Air was pumping out of the hose put my thumb over the end of the hose and got a loud pop now no bundled up of air pressure in my tanks. Can you direct me to that video or tell me where it hooks up. 2013 Cascadia DD13.Thank you.

Brother buenos dias te voy a agradecer mucho si me orientas como solucionar mi problema con my air brake dryer 2018 freightliner m2 106 con motor detroit DD5 4 CYL El air dryer dejo de purgar o de disparar aire le cambie todo el dryer assembly completo y ahora se purga o disparar aire cada minuto y cada vez que disparar aire se oye como que fuga aire en el compressor te agradecería si me puedes orientar como solucionar este problema

Francisco I have 2014 cascadia main hose se revento y fue remplasada al igual que la linea que va al air dryer y el compresor nuevo y sigue cargando lento por la mañana, tarda en subir a 100 psi unos 4 minutos eso es normal ?

If anyone needs an easier way on the 13+, take the “dog house” off inside the cab. The piece under the dash. Can access it a lot easier

The isx has a completely different style unloader valve. Usually we replace the head of the compressor

Hello Amaya, so I just got a new truck but last time I parked it for 5 days and it was in winter but when I turned it on it took abt 45 Minutes before the air pressure gouges could start moving up, but today I went back to it and turned it on for 2 hours and the air didn't build up at all until I gave up, it keeps making a sneezing noise from the engine compartment...what do u know about that? No air leak to me it just seems to be frozen because the weather temperature is below 20 and truck hasn't been going anywhere for about 2 weeks and half

I’m replacing a compressor. Due to pressure not building enough pressure. And it won’t go over 60 psi. Then check the hoses that connect to the compressor. And found they had black tar and contamination. Currently waiting on parts.

possible causes: air leak between air compresor line and air dryer constant air leak weak air compressor leak on the air governor signal line to the compressor bad unloader valve

In my case that main hose coming out of the compressor got clogged all the way to the dryer including the dryer and the hose going to it ( 2011 Cascadia ) In case someone has the same problem after changing the valve.

Governor has been replaced but now no air is being released. This will create too much pressure n start to cause leaks. Air compressor n governor were replaced 2 mos ago n here we are again.

My air compressor sounds like a snare drum. Purges and keeps purging till 105 psi. Unloaded valve crapped out. Stupid idea to put the air compressor by the frame peterbilt did it the same way 🤬🤬
