2019 Freightliner Cascadia DD15
Initial diagnostic and troubleshooting of intermittent fault code SPN 4364 FMI 17 "Nox Sensor Valid but out of normal range."
Note: there is a software update that may or may not help resolve the issue. Fault code appears randomly with no apparent reason nor solution.

I have a 2019, with 720k miles, this code pops up on occasion, but it seems to be fuel quality. I add the EDT hotshot secret fuel addititive, or Pittsburgh power additive and it goes away within a few hundred miles. Mine just came on for the first time in months in Benson AZ, and i just added 80 gallons of fuel, and i was stingy with the fuel additive. (The EDT at walmart or tractor supply treats 80 gallons, but the same size bottle at love's or pilot freats 800 gallons, same price. )

Same with mine. It seems to always pop up 60-90 miles after I add fuel additives or winterizer. Super annoying.

Is your def put 2.5 galón of pure pdf and the rest regular and it would clear

Go to acm and wait it shows you active code

U need to put adf pure or mix the pure with the regular from the pump drive it for a hour and it would delete itself is your adf from the pump your truck only run on pure adf just mix them pure and regular

Does that laptop allow you to do everything that a shop can do like ajust rpm,cruise control etc...

What fixed the problem did you need a force regen and that fixed the problem ?

Code could be "Active" and a legitimate problem could exists. That might explain why it returns immediately 🤔 I recommend a Detroit Diesel certified mechanic take a look at it. More than likely the repair could still be under warranty.

When I cleared the code with my laptop, it did not reappear. Periodically, the code has appeared weeks and sometimes months later. Each time the code is "inactive" and I can easily clear with my laptop.
