For the lore aspect, I'm glad you mentioned the point of the Avarosans living in the warmer parts of the Freljord allowing them the freedom of sustainable agriculture opposed to the Winter's Claw that occupy the colder regions and rely on hunting and raiding. Something even some lore fans neglect. I look forward to Targon's video.

The Freljord is such a cool place. I dont know what it is about frozen regions for me but they just hit different

Its probably worth mentioning just how generally unchanged the Freljordian champions have been in their identity. Anivia and Ashe are very old champions who have very similar core kit identities to when the game started with only minor reworks. Many of the reworks of Freljordian champs *leaned into* the aesthetic; Volibear was just a lightning bear before and Trundle was just a troll rather than an ice troll.

I really like how varied and different all the Freljordian champions. There is not really a lot you can do with “ice characters” but here there are Demi-Gods, 3 different tribes, and monsters like Trundle and Willump. All we need is the Iron Boar

Even Ashe has her own twist of resilience through the use of slows and scouting

Freljord had to be the harshest region on Runeterra, where in Noxus you're given the chance to live and choose your path, in Freljord you wont even get a chance to be alive. Ashe had 2 sibling who died after being born and she was the obly survivor, just shows you how cruel Freljord's environment is

the way that you mention that freljordian champions press their advantage slowly but surely is exactly how a glacier acts, a glacier will consume anything in its path but takes AGES to do so

braum will always be one of the most fun and unique support playstyles in the game no other support literally jumps in front your team like that to protect them its so cool and rewarding when you block an important cooldown from the enemy with your shield so i hope we can get more champs like that in the future

The Freljord is easily my favourite. Lissandra is my top champ, I love Trundle, Braum, Anivia, Gragas... Almost all of them honestly. I would love to see a new addition to the region's roster. It seems unfair that we haven't had anything new from there in a while. These are my favourite videos, talking about regions, classes, reworks, and play styles. Thank you for another banger video =) it brings a smile to my face to hear you explain my inner thoughts far better than I can.

I remmeber during my grind of globetrotter challenges, Freljord region is one of the most easists, the champs in this region are all very beefy, loads of heavy cc and pressure, and the very opposite of selfish-----they are great teamfight style champs.

Freljord's overall aesthetic reminds me so much of The Starks from GOT, and other shows like The Lost Kingdom and especially Vikings. . Its cool. . no pun intended. .

Lately im in love with braum, the power to engage n the power to disengage + the power to let anyone stun by having me tap any opponents. I would love a video that talks more about braum, i learnt lots from ur vids like how he lacks people playing ,the classification of him as a warden tank and tons more And i quote" good times , good friends , what could be better" Literally what i felt when i apply the passive to enemies and have my teammate successfully proc it.

Next one should be the void, the region with outrageous amounts of hard to resist mixed damage that inherently have unusual yet adaptable playstyles.

Freljord has a lot of my favorite champions, though also some of my least favorite (tryndamere), happy to see this video come out loved it thoroughly

I think the reason why there's not a new freljord champ after orn is because of how small and tight knit the region is. It's hard to insert a new character in the freljord lore unless they've been mentioned before. Unlike the other regions where you can insert a new character from an undisclosed region, the Freljord has factions inside.

"If you give enough time to Nunu, he'll destroy you". I know you've talked about cheese 3 seconds ago. But the time it takes is : one nanosecond.

Whenever I watch your league region videos, I keep on thinking what my favorite is, and it's quite hard. I love a lot of them, but it's hard to choose a favorite. The regions are very cool, I wish we had more of it in game. Butchers bridge was awesome, and really made me love bilgewater (and that theme holy crap it's good!) I love the regions, I just wish we saw more. Frelyord is AWSOME, but I'm getting tired of the howling abyss, now if we had more game modes and maps, I think it would be cool. Also, that means riot's music team would make more music, and I've been craving another butchers bridge like banger. This has gone on for long, awesome video, your videos are a joy to watch vars!

YESSSS! FINALLY THE FRELJORD! MY FAVORITE REGION! Another fun fact: Freljord quite possibly is the only region to have the most balanced Champions outside of Ashe who just is all over the place at times, Udyr who's kinda unstable at the moment due to the rework, and Tryndamere who's honestly, just a stat checker with bullshit mechanics.

personally im a fan of targon, or bilgewatter. targon has lots of healing and variation due to the several different tribes on the mountain. bilgewater has damage and area coverage, as they constantly fight for influence

I'd like to add that Brand hails from the Freljord too. He was a hated bastard child and that is what twisted him ultimately, despite the runes. Since he was a child he had fire in him growing up in the harshest environment of runeterra. I really like how our emberlord, pyromage comes from this land. I feel like we need some Brand updates. What is going on with him, what influence could he have now in this new landscape of casual raid bosses and mfs. He folds yes but he could be employed and rescued by a tall evil entity. We have some mega world ending threats and they aren't aware of a caged monster who just wants to burn everything? That sounds cool. I also wonder if brand is like pyke where he is not entirely sure who he is or what's going on. His soul burned away but what is brand. Could he be peaceful with select evil entity's for the sake of destroying shit and being free. Hes been locked away for so long, there's a lot of potential with little development atm.

Some other aspects I feel worth mentioning is that, aside from some very niche exceptions freljords champions tend to be very respected by most of the community even when they are too strong or too weak. I attribute it to them having a trait similar to Demacia, their honesty. They are very upfront about what they do, and don't give you any surprises or trickery. They are very upfront about how they will slow you, stun you, or otherwise debuff you, but theres no stealth, traps or hypermobility. Even Gnar who comes the closest to being a trickster due to his second form is still extremely easy to read and will only surprise people with his transformation once. Like an avalanche they are coming down the mountain to destroy you, but they announce it so you can hear and see it from miles away.

when are we having shadow isles bro? I really love the kits of the champs from there: thresh, kalista, hecarim

I have always wondered why even though its freezing cold in the Freljord most champions' outfits are half-naked e.g. Tryndamere, Olaf, Ashe, Sylas, Udyr, Braum, Gragas even Sylas in the Cinematic was basically topless

they all live in sub zero temptures yet a good deal of them dont wear cloths like ash, braum, trynda

I do think you should bring up a bit of the region playstiles on LOR it probabbly would be a very good addition to the Normal League playstile since yhey actually are quite simillar, prime example being Katarina and Fiora wich is show by Kat's trickery Being able to recall constantly making her very hard to kill, even thoug she is quite squishy and noxus don't having alot of buffs/negation. On the other side Fiora's whole win condition is having a "fair fight" by killing enemies without getting killed 4 times(cuz vitals) wich can be done by the sheer amount of "1v1" cards on demacia's tools i.e cataclism and single combat.

Lissandra didn't want world domination, no more than any of her sisters at least. She made a pact to get power for the iceborn and her sisters and when she actually saw the horror that was the void, she knew she had been deceived, so she sacrificed her sisters an many other freljordians to freeze the watchers. She now roams the freljord looking for iceborns to keep on feeding the dreams that keep in slumber the watchers, so she's always looking for new sacrifices to give extra time to the watchers.
