Fremont Black Lives Matter Demonstration, June 2

Organizer Julissa Jauregui, 23 of Newark, CA organized a march for George Floyd that went all the way to the Fremont Police Station.
Mayor Lily Mei and Police Chief Kimberly Petersen approached the organizers as they descended upon the station, but refused to take a knee as protesters pleaded.

Why do only black lives only matter? The FPD did nothing to be treated like this. Thank you to the mayor and chief for allowing the peaceful to express. Your training and professionalism was on display.

what kind of logic is that to ask a someone pr anyone to take knee for a felon that died of police brutality of another city? you guyd need to watch Owens n other black opinion leaders’ rational reasoning? this is total irrational. it is very very hard for me to agree with this logic

u know why we Asian people don’t knee, because we only knee to our parents when we are in our marriage party and when our parents pass away. That is our tradition. So u are asking an Asian people also a minority in America to knee for Black people. That is insane.
