French Bulldog Puppies Whelping Room Breeder Tips/Advice

This is My French Bulldog Puppies Whelping Room. For the first few weeks I spend a lot of time in this room with my French Bulldog Dam and her French Bulldog puppies.
I try to make the room as comfortable as I can for both her and I. I highly recommend if it all possible that you have some extra help relieve you from time to time. Before you breed a litter of French Bulldog puppies please do lots of research. Get a good mentor or 2. Make sure your French Bulldog is parasite free & do some health testing.

I think I put the rice packs in the microwave for 30 seconds then I’ll flip the rice around and do that about 2-3 times.

Hello, Thank you! I keep the room around 78-80 degrees when the pups are born. In the beginning I only take them out the incubator to eat & let mom clean them. Then they go back inside incubator until next feeding.

I generally keep the puppies in the incubator for the first week or so. Sometimes longer. Everything depends on the mom and the current situation with the puppies.

From the moment you bring the puppies home from the vet after delivery, how often do you keep in touch with the puppy and MAMA‘s parents?

If someone has reserved one of my puppies I try to keep in touch with them as often as possible. I’m pretty good at returning text messages and emails. I also am very active on my social media accounts when I have a litter.

I like the incubator in the winter when it’s cold. The temperature varies depending on how old the puppies are.

When they are born do you use ur incubator and when you move them to ur whelping box do you use a heat lamp also do u leave the mom with them or feed them every 2-3 hours then take mom out

Hello, when they are born I do indeed use an incubator. I do NOT use a heat lamp. I take the puppies in & bout of the incubator every 2-3 hours around the clock. I do NOT leave them with the mom unsupervised until I am confident that she will not hurt them. That's generally around day 7-14 for me. Each Dam (mom) is different. I am extremely observant & I know my dogs.

I bought two girl frenchies to breed and I have never had any dog have puppies so now I’m hearing about aspiration and it’s making me nervous so how should I go about making sure the puppies are doing ok when I’m sleeping

Do a lot of research before you attempt to breed them. Get yourself a mentor or 2 for some insight. Definitely check on them throughout the night.

If & when things go bad I do buy best to save them. That's when I go into overdrive and I'm up around the clock with them. I try to be proactive so that does not happen.

I keep them in the whelping box til around 4-5 weeks. After that I move them to a bigger area where they eat, play, sleep until they leave to their forever homes. Theres a video on my channel called "How I feed my litter of 6 week old French bulldogs" that shows their living area. Thank you!

Breeder tips/advice from someone who just set up a room and has all brand new stuff thats never been used. Please make the room darker for the dam and the pups. A little less insta a little more comfort.
