I am sharing this video out of my passion for home decorating. It would be wonderful that this content inspire you to also create something you like in your home. When styling a room I simply feel out what is right for me and I try not to get stuck in design rules. I love the colors. My mother always had us make the bed with the sheets right side together so it is pretty turned back. I think I’ll be looking for these colors. That’s so pretty together.

I saw once where someone had put the sheet on upside down so when you pull it over the comforter, it is showing the right side up and not the underside of the sheet.

yes! i love it that way - then you see the pretty side of the sheet when you open the bed.

❤ Beautiful…love the new sheets…great choice! Something that I do with long pillowcases is tuck the excess inside the pillowcase…looks really tidy that way and stays inside nicely!

Here are my comments. I like the color of the sheets. I like the blanket and the small blanket, the color contrast is perfect. Personally, I would’ve use king size pillows in front of the headboard and then the throw pillows. I would not have put flower baskets on the bed. It doesn’t make sense.. Good choice with the Candleholders on the side table. The curtains did not blend well with your design theme maybe white lace curtains. White curtains with small floral patterns.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, to keep this reno within a $100 budget, I have to work mainly with what I have on hand. I'm all about resourcefulness when decorating. Oooo white curtains with small floral patterns sound so pretty too! I'm a little obsessed with flowers. I would probably have them everywhere in the room to admire every day, but if you prefer to not place them on the bed, I get it.

It is my opinion that it looks nice but I'm one of those kind of people that does not like a lot of pillows on my bed. I don't like to put them on and I don't like to take them off. So I particularly care for the vintage look the bedspread and not the comforter therefore the spread covers the two sleeping pillows and then you could add perhaps only three pillows.. I personally just like to add like maybe a stuffed kitten... that way you just folded back or take it off and you're ready for bed and the same way of making it up it's easy and it's fast... and it also looks very nice and neat... don't knock it till you try it. LOL

Yes, it is not the most practical morning routine to have lots of pillows on the bed. Some people enjoy the process of dressing up the bed each morning, but I'm with you. Admittedly I only create these looks when guests are coming! Thanks for sharing.

New to you. Just wondering why queen or king pillows weren't used, then add some layered accent pillows. I like the colors! Very pretty.

Hi! I’m glad you like the colors. My home decorating approach stems from being resourceful. I prefer to use things we have already. Plus I’m not a huge fan of oversized pillows for sleeping. It really is a personal choice and you could certainly use king or queen pillows if you wanted.

Thank you Kelly!! I use Amazon a lot too. For those moments I need to feel things out and get a good visual, those discount stores are a good option.

Hi! Yes, sorry all the links are for similar items but not exactly the same. Shopping at discount stores like Ross can be somewhat of a treasure hunt with different items every week. So, likely even if you went to your local store you may not find the exact same item. The throw blanket I used is 4' x 5' and of a dark pink or rouge color. It has a stitched geometric pattern in it.

So I like to use what I have on hand and I don’t have any king size pillows but we don’t really mind. 😊 and agreed that king size pillows go with king size beds. Thanks for the share!

What was the size of the runner and color?

So sorry, I thought I had responded to this before! The color of the runner is between a raspberry and crimson I would say. The size is approximately 3 feet by 4 feet. It runs small for the edge of my king size bed. Hope this helps.

On the pillow cases that are too long, you can actually tuck all of the extra fabric back into itself with the pillow. You can’t see the pillow, and you don’t have the extra material flopping.
