Erin, a verdigris finish can also be achieved by spray painting the piece with copper paint. Spray bleach on it when the copper paint is wet. it produces a beautiful verdigris finish ❤

I came across your channel recently and I've been going to ask if you are Australian, I was thrilled when you said about buying the birds in the cheap shops in Australia. I love the birds but I liked them best when the rust and especially the blue green colour was more noticeable. Mind you I would have purchased it in a shop how it was finished too.
