So the proper translation would be "Darn it" since it's not a real swear

French-speaking Canada has a system of referring to meals of certain times. Canadians call lunch « Dîner ». But for actual dinner, it’s « souper ». And as for breakfast, it’s « déjeuner ». Just a step ahead of the traditional Parisian French terminology.
