I have both the french 1935a and p210. the french feels good in my hand (when im not shooting it), it is a very slick and stylish gun (besides the enamel coating) ... but that hammer bite tho! Now the p210 shoots like butter , one of the smoothest guns I've shot, and the slide racks like butter , especially for its time

Your buddy is probably pulling left really bad the way his finger is swallowing that trigger

She's biting, definitely has not been fed for a while. Another nice pick up! Now to get a SIG 210/P49 for that comparison video...

I talked about it a bit in my video, but I think the magazines just stick more in the 35As. Overall, I think the 35S is the better combat pistol, which it seems the French also thought so with the adoption of the 1950.

You also have the luxury of being able to shoot that P210! the king of these-style-of-pistols!

The magazine catch is somewhat adjustable, by turning the slotted button outward with the proper spanner screwdriver. That usually alleviated a lot of the hanging with the ones I've dealt with/own. The rest was often cause by "Infinite layers of black paint". (The British did the same). The "S" is/was supposedly a simpler design to manufacture. If one is interested in the 35A/S, the fine little book by Colin Doane and Eugene Medlin is well worth searching out.

For ammo....Took a while but Starline made a bunch of brass for this. Factory bullets were 85 grain; I use Hornady 90 grain HPs. S&W 32 long brass used to be worked over and sold. No need now. Try Blue Dot powder.
