Thank you for watching! A few things: -Looks like if you swap cancel the hold version of the Heron echo, you will gain much more energy so hold your echo skill just a bit and swap out immediately to do this. credits to @xanthee_imr and @CeKoneR15 in the comments. Thanks for letting me know! -Totally forgot to mention that after using the Heron Echo skill, if you use your Outro Skill within 15 seconds, the next character's dmg is increased by 12%! huge omission on my part, my bad! -Sorry for butchering Jianxin’s name. I always try to get characters’ names right but sometimes I mix up some letters in words/names. Will do better next time. -Forgot to mention a 3* DPS weapon, which would be Sword of Night! And if you don’t have any other swords, Tyro Sword could work as a 2* early game.

Very in-depth guide, loved it. One small thing though, if you use the hold version of Heron and swap cancel will give you even more resonance energy than tapping, this is not just for Sanhua but for every character of course

Also if you swap cancel it properly, the heron breath will auto-target the enemy so you land every hit of it, but if you swap cancel too late, it will just fly off in a straight line lol

@@frenchtutor_ Ok I'm catching up. I wanted to say that the hold Heron can be swap-cancelled too like the tap one, if you are precise enough you can even not go airborne on your next character if you don't have the intro ready. The hold version seems to be superior because it generates a disgusting amount of energy, I didn't do the math but I tested it in game and the hold version generates considerably more energy not only for the whole team but even more than for the character who would otherwise benefit from the 10 energy tap version. It's disgustingly good.

Wow that’s good to know! Is there any way to aim the heron probably? It seemed to just go straight ahead. I guess it’s better to use your skill farther away first?

@@frenchtutor_ oh, I didn’t notice anything weird, I did my tests against bosses. The Heron when swapped auto targets the enemies on its own, if you time your swap correctly you don’t even go in the air at all meaning that the echo starts positioning on the enemies immediately on his own. I’ll try to keep an eye on how it behaves against small enemies

You can also dash cancel her resonance skill on the ground if you time it right. You have to time it between basically as soon as the ice starts coming out. You probably only have 2-3 frames to do it. It takes a lot of practice, but is a lot better than air dash cancelling if you get to the point where you can get it consistently!

Sincere admiration and respect for sharing your knowledge in the video, incredible breakdown. But this also convinced me to skip and look elsewhere lol. Well, tbf, I didn't like her at launch because I find berets cheesy (that's just me though); it was common to see them on schoolkids' as part of their uniform where I'm from, so the icky association is largely my fault. And she seems too complicated for someone like me who's riddled with skill issues lmao. Anyhoo, keep the good work coming bruv 👍

33:17 i was told that when Calcharo pops his ult, his basic attack becomes Liberation DMG and not basic attack dmg

Oh so I think some of his ult attacks are considered basic attack damage as well but I could be wrong. I’ll do a bit more research when I can. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Hey very good video for sanhua, thanks a lot for the very in depth explanations and comparisons. One question, for the Heron echo, do you need to hold it to proc the buff?

Question! why do you not Liberation>Skill> Detonate to cut down field time by not needing to detonate twice for support flow chart?

Oh I explain that later in 24:52 . but I think 2 heavy attack detonates are pretty useful when you don't have scale slasher and also when you have 0 concerto energy

Even when using her as a sub dps/support, wouldn't it be more ideal to start her rotation with a normal charged attack to N5 so that she gets her buffs up? I think its a big deal still

Yeah it depends, if you care about doing some damage with her as a sub dps or support, I would definitely do it. But if she has the moonlit set and a support weapon and there is a stronger main dps like encore on the team, I would just focus on getting sanhua’s outro ready asap and forget about damage

@@frenchtutor_ I play her with moonlit yes but still built for damage with the 5* standard sword. She is supporting my Yinglang... And embarrassingly dealing more damage than him sometimes haha
