He is hardworker, and his attacking power is insane, also he is a real teamate for the striker, but idk how tf our coach choose jorji instead of him. Jorji so calm, he is game changer, but sometimes i see kova deserve more playing time.

Last season he was becoming more productive with his assists but then he got injured. He only played 17 games worth of minutes in the Prem last season and contributed to 7 goals. That’s not bad for a central midfielder. Could’ve easily made it into the double digits if he stayed fit last season.

De Jong x Kova double pivot. Both masters in ball retention and beating the press. Chelsea may not buy an out n out creator but if these two can have an understanding, it may elevate our game and help Tuchels philosophy Possession football, when one of Kova or De Jong drives with the ball, the other sits back, movement drags opps out of position, movement creates space, space for teammates to occupy creating avenues for more chance creation And De Jongs passing is probably on par or better than most players in the Chelsea squad. Would be a great signing

Kova moves in tight area n Frankie have the speed like kante,We have many young DM let build them to become a better team becoz Frankie was not know back then till now.I like him at Chelsea but I will grow our boys and stop chasing people who don’t want to play for us forgetting that we have let away many young talent n we are paying it price.

@@kwesietsibah2917 It’s not mandatory having three CB’s. I have grown up watching Chelsea scoring goals for fun. Let me give you an instance, 2009-10 season, Chelsea played 4-1-2-1-2. Essien at the base. Lampard and Ballack ahead of him and Deco around to support the attack. We scored a 103 goals and the GD of +71. The stats you spoke about don’t come close to these numbers!

Simply put, Tuchel need to play 433, middle 3 with Kova, Kante, De Jong. Sorry, Jorginho is too slow to convert pass to attack at times.

Kovacic and de jong will create deadly duo at the middle. But we have jorginho and kante to slot in.. because tuchel system always play 2 anchor with Regista as a deep lying playmaker.. you cannot play so much centre mid with 3 CB system.. i remember long time ago.. chelsea can play Lampard, Ballack, Essien and Makalele on the same time and we become super horse those day during anchelotti time with diamond system.

Like comparing apples and oranges. Beat the press in the PL and 2 or 3 more are bearing down on you. Beat the press in La Liga and you are in clear air. FDJ will not work in England because he needs time and space to perform which is simply not available in the PL

Barcelona will lose the soul of the team if they sell De Jong. Hes the player you build a team around, not Pedri.. You will always have attacking ballers, even if its not of the same high intensity but its very rare to find pivotal ballers like De Jong. Kovacic is Chelsea's best player, he simply needs more playing time. Ahead of all others
