A quick comparison of Syma S6 to Silverlit Nano Falcon for unofficial title of smallest RC helicopter, review of Syma S6 and an indoor flight demo of Syma S6. Is the S6 as cool and fun as Nano Falcon?

The Nano Falcon, one of the best $20 I spent. It sure is a fun little bugger. It'll even do some partial bank turns! Quite a blast to fly.

Good vid, there's something very cool about these miniature helis and quads available nowadays, the fact you can have reasonable amount of control over them compared to how they used to be is amazing. I think the S6 might need to be my next rc purchase. :)

S6 is really nice..have you seen my TX Helicopters? Awesome transmitter with that one!
@jaketheripper738510 жыл бұрын
The only issue is that they are SO small and SO light that they get blown around by their own turbulence. If there's ANY air movement in the room at all, it spins out of control. It's own air wake will even make it spin out. For the most part though, it flies surprisingly well for its size. Actually has quite a decent flight time too. It sure is a blast to fly around and wow your friends. It's a great conversation piece too. I am of course referring to the Nano Falcon here, as I have no experience with the Syma.

Jacob Kerlin Syma S6 is a different animal! It flies HARD... meaning it can bump things most of the time and keep flying where as the Nano Falcon falls as soon as it is touched by and obstacle!

Nope no case. The case seems to be a thing of the past, not mad though since the heli surpasses my expectation. I have a Blade CX2 4 channel, Syma S107g, and a Walgreens 2 channel heli. This one is #1 out of those. Thanks again for posting this vid.

You can fly it with the Syma S107G controller too! You're all set! :P

Nice video. Talking about fly time, which is better? Thanks for the review
@FrequentFlyerRC10 жыл бұрын
The Nano Falcon I think has slightly better flight time with light toggled off. But I have not compared. I think the Syma's blades spin faster and the blades are more firm. The Nano's blades are bendy. I don't know if this has great impact because both will shoot to the ceiling with full throttle!

Could you do a comparison between the Syma S6 and the CX 10? They are both nearly the same price, just heli vs quad. Wondering which is smaller, which is faster, which flies the best indoors/out, etc...
@FrequentFlyerRC9 жыл бұрын
Well, the S6 is a coaxial heli.. They don't do good in wind and it's also infra red controlled so you would only be able to take it outside at night because the sun interferes with its control. It's Alot slower and less stable than the CX - 10.. Well.. You see where this is going Lol! I can tell you the CX-10 will Excell in every area so wouldn't be really fair to compare the 2 in a video. However, me and my Nephew did do a fun CX-10 vs S6 video where I just chased the S6 around and beat it up with the CX-10! Never released it lol

I have had a very bad experience with R/c helicopters...bought two...both flew properly. After charging it...it wouldn't fly. It just wouldn't leave the ground! So according to me the lifespan of Rc helicopters is 4-5days max :P Saw the review of Syma s107g so thought of taking the risk again...I have ordered it..I just hope it flies and I don't end up wasting my money again :( Syma s107g is a good one isn't it? And if it works like a charm for a month..(I doubt it'll last that long) I'll order this one! Please correct me if I'm wrong guys...I really need to know..
@FrequentFlyerRC10 жыл бұрын
Syma S107g said to be the best indoor coaxial helicopter! You made a great choice. Me personally, I prefer quads over coaxial because quads are less fragile in my opinion. Thanks for watching

I have the original S107. Had it since christmas 2010. I've crashed it a few times but never broken a wing or the shell. The battery stopped holding charge, so I took the heli apart and replaced it with a slightly bigger battery (for longer flight times). I still fly it. If the S107G is better (which it should be) I see no reason why it won't last just as long!!! Quads are great too. You're on a slippery slope towards a large collection or r/c fliers! :P

Andrew Thomas Coaxial copters are pretty slow and last pretty well with natural use. But I got other factors at home... CHILDREN! Lol (They would break it for sure if the got to it)

I've really been loving getting into the hobby with 4 channel multirotors like quadcopters & hexacopters. I didn't really enjoy my experiences with three channel helicopters so much. Are there any affordable 4 channel helicopters that you enjoy flying?
@FrequentFlyerRC9 жыл бұрын
Nope, so I went strictly quads and hexes lol

What kind of flight time are you getting from the S6. I am getting about 2 min on a full charge.
@FrequentFlyerRC9 жыл бұрын
At least 3 but temperature affects it. If you're storing it in cold area flight time decreases. Try to keep it nice and warm

Frequent Flyer RC That would be true but if you have to have line of sight and aim the controller at the aircraft more or less. So not a much radio than TV remote control, well old school TV remote our new TV has Bluetooth and wifi remotes but no infra red. :)

Well that didn't last long. Bottom rotor stopped working for no reason at all.
@FrequentFlyerRC9 жыл бұрын
Sometimes another heli I have had a similar problem. The lower propeller set slid down too far and no longer was spinning until I lifted it up, just try pulling the bottom propellers up on the shift and see if that fixes it!
@Bricks569 жыл бұрын
I took it apart and found that the motor that spins the lower rotor died.
