Those trucks are only $4 at Walmart, they are with the cheap cars and pullbacks. So if anybody is looking for these, you can find them at Walmart too.

Walmart carries these under the Adventure Force name and the go for under $4. I have bought a couple to modify and they work really well. They also carry multi packs of cars and trucks starting at the same price. They lack interior details (have black windows) but again are really great to modify for Gaslands.

You know, the actual hot wheels semis, the bigger one's that come with a car (not the track trucks) are like 6$ at target or wal-mart.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing the info. I found the Hot Wheels semis at Meijer, last week for $6.99. I shot a bunch of footage of the amazing dies cast vehicle selection at Meijer. Once I edit the footage, I'l upload it. Also, my next KZfaq upload shows how it looks now.

Great video! Always fun to find hobby stuff in unexpected places. I'm gonna try and track down that tanker myself and convert it into something close to the truck from the movie Duel. P.S...Keeping my fingers crossed for a relaunch on those Gingerbread Men!

The Gingerbread minis are still on the back burner, I really want to get those manufactured, but I may take a while longer. I’m a one person operation, and I’m older and also require naps.

Dollar General has a pretty good line of cheap semi-trucks that work great for war rigs. They are almost entirely plastic. But the plastic is a lot easier to cut and modify for Gaslands conversions. One of them even comes with a Helicopter that's a decent scale to use for Gaslands.

What a score! I haven’t found any semi-trucks at the Dollar Tree yet, I’ll keep looking. I do find plenty of cheap stuff to make awesome terrain and bits, bobs, and parts for kitbashing though. I’ve been slowly editing a video that’s a “Dollar Tree for Gaslands walkthrough”. It seems each store I goto has slightly different inventory in their toy section.

Dollar Tree gets better as they get closer to Christmas. They get more Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. Usually older stock too. So they sometimes get cars that you don't see at the normal places like Wal-Mart and Target. The same for Dollar General. If I recall right, the semi trucks I found at Dollar General are about $4. Or at least close to that price. They also have some plastic tractor sets for $2-3 that can be cut up for loads of great bits for conversions and terrain scatter.

The Dollar General brand semi truck is called a Mighty Fleet, Highway Hauler. And they come in 12 versions according to the package. Although it is really are 4 different color schemes on 2 different body styles, and then the remaining four are two different color schemes on two different bodies. And they are a box trailer, a car hauler with a car, an oil tanker, and a flat bed with a helicopter. They are easy to take apart too. They are held together with tiny screws.

No problemo. I live in a small town. We have one Dollar Tree, one Wal-Mart, one Walgreens, one Kroger(big grocery store). But between my town, and three other local towns close by, there are four Dollar General stores. So between collecting Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, customizing cars, and Gaslands, I pretty much am constantly trolling all the local stores for any cool stuff I can find.

You could probably take that bed off, and stick it on top of stank or box trailer to make a top deck.
