The theory that humans are only about 250,000 years old is not based so much on evidence of that age as it is on a lack of evidence for an older age. It wasn't that long ago that they thought the figure was only 50,000 years. The Vedas and other ancient texts posit a figure in the millions of years. And there have been occasional archaeological artifacts that support this view. There are also architectural remains that depict humans and dinosaurs existing side-by-side, much more recently than their reputed date of extinction.

i think it's silly to suggest psilocybin is "alien technology" like mckenna suggested it's a fairly simple tryptophan derivative ibogaine, on the other hand, now that's a funky molecule! weird 3d structure and does all sorts of things in the brain, that's some alien shit
