Synopsis:

That’s what drives me nuts about those type of grandparents, they forget they are not the mother or father of the child and try to be the mother and father. In this case it’s the grandmother. Being a grandparent doesn’t mean they have the right to take the child away from either parents, unless of course it’s by court and both parents are deemed unfit.

It drives me crazy too. She didn't do a very good job in raising her son now she wants her grandson now. The ex can have a child with his mistress.

@@karenlommler6473 My thoughts exactly. Although when the son confessed it was him who did wrong in the marriage she seemed to redirect her anger. Although usually grandparents usually go back to blaming the wife.🙄

When my neice & nephew were born it was hard on my sis sister. My brother in law worked away from home most of the year & my parents did a lot for my sister. It got so bad between my mom & sister at one point. I had to intervene & remind her she is not the parent to them. My sister eventually moved away to be closer to him & his work. She has good life now with him & the kids but my mom still has to be reminded thats she is a grandparent not their mother.

@@nurhartiniputeri Ah, see that still drives me nuts. What in the world made men back then think men were more important and more valuable than females. The only difference between the two is the plumbing. Other than that females can do the same as men can, and females go through more.

@@nurhartiniputeri Thinking about it, Mother-In-Laws in any country rarely have a good reputation. Almost all married couples would say Mother-In-Laws are evil, manipulative, conniving, hateful women. I would bet that that is a big reason for divorces, besides the spouse’s behavior as well, especially depending on how easily that spouse is easily manipulated.

The husband cheated and she lost her job because of this situation. The wife refused to beg him to stay with her, I'm sorry to say, like most women. All I hear the mother-in-law scream, he's coming with me, he's the decent of the family, I'm the Grandmother, purposely forgetting she standing in front of the other Grandmother. All because he's male. Even her own husband knows she's wrong. I don't condone violence but I wouldn't mind her being pushed out the door. She's not thinking about her grandson at all.

I agree only when something goes wrong the husband thinks of the kid(s) and the ML claims he's a decendant , his last name is etc. So what did the male carry child for 9 months and pushed him out? I know all women are not great mothers but if a man can be disrespectful during marriage and not think of the child during his cheating then he has to bear the consequences.
