It depends on the species. Female reindeer have antlers. Male reindeer are loosing their antlers in autumn, while the females are keeping them until late winter to protect their offsprings, then regrow them in summer. That means that all of Santa's reindeer are all female.

Shikanoko means child derr (shika=deer no=of ko=child). Koshi Torako, Torako means chilid tiger(tora=tiger ko=child). By the way, 'Koshitantan' is a Japanese proverb. It means something like "to have eyes on", where a tiger is watching for an opportunity(ko=tiger, shi=gaze). Of course, there’s no deeper meaning to my deer friend.

@@FreshestAnime I don’t have any true confirmation as those are just things I noticed myself, but in persona 4 the second victim of the game is a highschool girl found dead hanging from a telephone pole, one of the main characters even blames himself for not helping her and feels like he could have maybe saved her if he was more aware of her struggles. The way koshi finds shikanoko lying seemingly dead with a message written from her own blood and her body almost hiding the writings is really reminiscent of danganronpa’s first case. I won’t spoil the answer but for english speakers the mystery is really easy to figure out, so easy in fact that it birthed the meme :"11037", so if you see this number, no it’s not a sauce, it’s just a meme from a very popular game.
