actually it's lower than the legal limit. That's why I stuck with this one. Thanks for replying. I usually keep it on brights.

+M EL I will look into it. Do you mean the front or back? I am not having a back issue. But front make a small noise after releasing brake.

It's the front brakes

+M EL Same issue with mine. Called the Star distributor and he said it's normal and brakes have to wear in. It skinned liked a whistling or air noise in mine.

Mine is rattling noise.

+M EL That sounds like either your rotor is bent from being hit or they say to much heat when using the front brake on rotor will distort it when it cools. From either waiting to long to change brakes or factory bad rotor.

I purchased an led bulb for my 2001 vstar 650 classic and I can confirm that although in the garage it seemed brighter, the way it spread and “reflected “ down the road was just not good at all. I thought I did a fair amount of research on the bulb etc, but honestly the stock bulb is just fine. If anything I may replace the whole housing/ can assembly but after just about 4 years of riding and 2 bikes I’ve come to the conclusion that most upgrades are hardly worth it unless you choose quality accessories and the work performed properly. At first I was the idiot that wanted skeleton hand mirrors and an under glow kit before I even had a good leather armored riding jacket or a decent pair of boots and helmet. Put the silly accessories on the back burner if u are new to riding and invest in good tires, make sure brakes cables and chain or belt are in good shape and most importantly good safety gear. I’m actually more comfortable with everything stock at this point, minus me trying my hand at a custom decal / clear coat redo of my gas tank. But that was just for fun. Came out pretty good too.

But the compatibility tool say the light is not compatible with Bolt. Did it still fit or is it a different item?
