First 20 seconds is a lie. MOST freshmen/transfers find themselves in Rogers or Gresham hall, which are the oldest and most rundown dorms on campus. Also, owens is very selective, you're either LLC, ILC, or engineering. A very lucky few freshman actually get Owens their first year. If you're coming fall 2024, or spring 2023, expect to be in the dorms farthest from campus. (Whitehurst also just got renovated because of black mold, so it may be a little nicer...)

I lived in Whitehurst in 2014, you aren't lying. That bitch can be a walk and people before they move to Norfolk have no idea about the flooding. So they have some class in BAL and have to essentially cross the Atlantic to get to class

Thank you! Do you know of any videos of Ireland House? I can't seem to find one. Son will be in a single in a 4-person suite.

I don't unfortunately, sorry! But I do know that the 4-person suites, depending on which type he has, will either be 4 single rooms + a common shared space or 2 double rooms + a common shared space. I believe both options should have 2 bathrooms as well (1 bathroom per 2 people in the entire suite). Hope you are able to find a video somewhere!

Some folks complained about Ireland having hard water. Overall nice dorms.
