From the perspective of a console player I’d love namalsk so much it’s such a great map that deserves to be on all platforms

My idea for a new map: Doncaster in England. - there are no zombies - it’s just normal Doncaster - fits the survival aspect of DayZ & the people are just as feral

Freshy Hotbar : [ 1: Gun/ 2: melee / 3: Knife (or badly damlaged gas cannister eheh) / 4: Rags or Bandages ] Fully Geared Hotbar : [ 1: CQB/ 2: Sniper / 3: Pistol /4: Melee/ 5: Epinephrine/ 6: Bandages/ 7: Lockpick ] My idea of a perfect map ? (sorry bad english) A map based on linear progression of risk/reward ratio, where the main danger would be heat and thirst (you would have to boil water to purify it). Maybe some type of summery archipelago made of three islands : 1: A fresh spawn island where your find friends or random, food + water for your next adventure, or simply for messing around. 2 : Next the main island, focus on surviving and gunfight with civilian firearms, divided of three prallel "routes" : Route A : Focus on stealth & PVE (wolf, bear, ect ) forest & rocky mountains with survivors camps, hunting cabines, summer camps, cave, creepy places, ect... Route B : Focus on longue range fights (Bolt action riffles). Lots of open fields, tree lines, isolated villages, Small industrials cities, mines, hunting stands and a highway in the middle with a lot of broken cars (trap for noobs ? ) ? ect... Route C : A flooded modern touristic coast of skyscraper,appartements, medicals, Police stations, ,amusement park, ect. A CQB nightmare full of zombies and verticality. Based on shotgun and SMG's gunfight. 3 : A final island wich is basically a giant military base with camps, airfield, undergrounds, ect... The goal would be to reach the final island to repare some heli, take the heli to find a off shore mili base (full of moded pve danger) to loot a key-card, fly back to the main island to access the top of ancient volcano (only possible with the heli) and use the key card to open a gigantic undergroud full of toxic gas where you discover some type of secret (Wake up an ancient god hidden inside the volcano too kill everybody and restart the server ? like some type of EVR storm in namalsk maybe.)

This is how I setup my hotbar for most cases 1. Primary (ofc) 2. Either magazine or loose ammo 3. Sidearm 4. Usually empty or a second primary mag 5. Melee

I like namalsk, really intensifies the struggle against the elements, and has northern lights.

Namalsk uses assets from stalker, so won't ever be official unfortunately :( It is made by one of the dayz-devs tho and to me it feels the closest we've gotten to a third official map right now.

i have no rational explanation for why i do it this way, but i do melee in slot 1, bandage in slot 2, guns in 3-5 if i have enough, and then i like to keep an open compass on my last slot if i have one

My Hotkeys are: 1. Main gun for cqb (ar / shotgun etc. depending on loot) 2. Pistol 3. Meele weapon 4. Sniper Any additionally ones will be filled with magazines/ammo preferably so that the reload bug doesnt fuck me over or i put addrenelin/morphin/nades. If i have a lot of slots i sometimes put the compass on the far end for better callouts (or incase i dont know the map). I used to have bandages in there too but since you are only able to use them when you are in relative safety anyway i dont think it is nessesary to have them as a hotkey.

I do 1:Rifle (Long Distance) 2:Short Range Gun 3:Pistol 4: Mele and then rest varies depending on what situation i'm in.
