I enjoyed my one afternoon there. Ky plan was to see the river but I was unaware of how big the levee was. Funny thing though, three days later the film I was working on shot right there on the river in a quarry there. It was meant to be!

I found myself there for a last minute job lasting only three weeks and did this episode on one of my few days off, did all the research the night before, so I'm sure I missed a lot. That's the beautiful thing about going out to discover the world on a day trip, you take away what you can and use that information to learn more. I only had one day off and went to Friars Point on a lark only because it was raining very hard in Clarksdale. I truly wish I had had more time to explore the area. I'll just have to plan on going back again!
