Amazing vocalist who never got the recognition she truly deserved. Her talent was always overshadowed by the popular blonde, Swedish sex symbol the males and media loved to embrace more! She was the true talent, so versatile and pitch perfect.

- Identified in grade school for her keen ear, vocal talent - age 7, dedicated to become a successful vocalist. - schools singer/entertainer - church choir - 1956, elected Children's Day Princess - 1956-58, charity performing - 1958, age 13. Turned pro. Still underage by three years. Hired anyway. Already had respect by seasoned pro. Frida proved she was the real deal. Serious sbout her craft. - won best vocalist talent hunts as child, pre-teen, teen and adult. 1963-1966: Anni-Frid Four era - 1964 & 1967 National Best vocalist. 1967, proved to be her big break after being on stages for over ten years. 1967-72: EMI Sweden, TV Shows, Radio Shows, Charlie Norman Show/TV Tour, modeling. 1969: met Benny 1970: pre ABBA foursome: Cypress, Radio Show, Cabernet Shows. From live radio show: 'Barnen Sover' - Frida vocals. Benny piano. Bjorn guitar.. LIVE-to-air, audience in radio studio. 'Barnen Sover' is only surviving pre-ABBA performance and it was put on Frida 1967-72, EMI Sweden compilation album. 1972 - ABBA

*Cyprus not Cypress. This trip to Cyprus was was a UN sponsored trip to perform for soldiers. All four were individual artist at the time. First time performing together as foursome on stage. They were also very close friends. Frida brought her daughter, Lisa-Lotte on the trip.
