We have about 4-6 cans each week. Rural area, no recycle available so that adds some.

I guarantee you that like 70% of all the so-called "trash" people produce every single day around the world could have been recycled, composted, or donated. People throw away too much plastic, cardboard, aluminum, clothing, food scraps, as "garbage" because we are too lazy to properly dispose of it. If you _really_ did those 3 things more often, u would be amazed at how _little_ ACTUAL trash u _truly_ produce on a daily basis. this is not an opinion. it is a _fact_ , whether or not u disagree u are amazed, because people are too lazy/apathetic to reduce their waste. i live in a household of 4. 3 months ago i decided to try something, and introduced separate bins for different types of waste. at the end, after some sorting, i filled up a mere 2 (small) garbage bags of actual garbage that could NOT be recycled, composted, or donated. things like tampons, condoms, used cooking oil, cling wrap, plastic lined paper like protective seals, paper binded wires to keep vegetables together that u see at the grocery store, cleaning wipes, rubber/latex gloves, rubber bands, rusted paper clips, laundry sheets, dirty/damaged clothing/shoes that could not be salvaged, tea bags, tissues with dangerous chemicals, etc. society needs to do better.

I worked in garbage and there was a woman that had been with he company for 12 years was better than most of the guys
