Big brain theory: Cesar confirmed by accident, on the Tea Birthday stream, that this shadow, It IS actually Boyfriend. So the cave is a realm wich apears when BF goes to other worlds to rap battle everyone. BF tried to go in the Friday Night Fever World, but he wasn't allowed to be there. After too much effort he gets in the middle of the cave but, the rapper looks... Different. BF saw Fever and he just started to stare at him. Fever knows about this shadow looking figure and he just gives the shadow what he wanted, a rap battle. (Edit: My theory is canned i am going to cry)

The lore for this song is in my opinion absolutely amazing because it really gets you wondering what BF's motives were here. Here's my take: I've read a theory from another commenter, @ZPsychic, who says that the shadow was confirmed by Cesar to be the actual BF and not some faker. They also suggested that the cave is some sort of pocket dimension that is created whenever BF travels to other universes/dimensions to rap battle people. I think this might just be a phenomenon which occurs in Fever's universe, since in other mods, we've seen BF materialize in all sorts of ways, from stepping through some kind of portal to literally popping into existence. I believe the cave appeared because BF was barred entry into Fever's universe for some reason; I don't know if this universe doesn't allow BF to enter it from the outside, or if Fever did something to stop BF from entering. Whatever the case, BF tried to barge his way in, which is why we see him here as a blurry shadow; he's not fully within the universe, but enough of him is there so that he can do what he wants: rap. Coincidentally, Fever is there too, and recognizing BF, he raps with him, probably to keep BF out of his universe. It's obvious he knows who BF is, and what he's capable of. (Supposedly, BF physically can't lose, and can manipulate time to ensure this, which has been recognized in enough mods for me to believe that it's canon.) Fever seems to think that BF would cause chaos if he managed to enter his universe, which makes me wonder if BF's main motive is to rap battle, or if there's something else that he has in mind. Either way, Fever fights hard, and barely manages to tie. Considering BF here is weaker than his actual form, we can only imagine what would happen if he did fully enter (although Fever is also weaker than normal, since he said he hadn't been able to change to demon form as often as he would like). TLDR: Fever rap battles a shadowy, weaker-than-normal BF in order to keep him out of his universe, and just about does it. I don't know why Fever wants BF out, but I'm sure there's some good reason for it.
