I like the fact that, Pico repeats snippets from the first song over and over again, as if trying to get through to the Boyfriend, or to cheer himself up. A truly worthwhile project!

Once 1:28 hits, you can really feel the desperation of Pico's voice as he keeps his strength and will intact by constantly encouraging himself "Go Pico, yeah yeah, go Pico go...". This mantra of his forces a crack so deep within the corruption's armor that the corruption itself had to take in the reigns itself mid hold note in order to keep it's most valuable asset, Boyfriend. "Don't make me draw the line, been fighting my whole life, the friends that we've come by, they got me, cannot lie." This is my own interpretation on Pico singing his own motif, as not only does it have such a profound effect on BF that the corruption had to start using and abusing the power that is hold notes just to keep itself barely going, really goes to show how much Pico really matters to BF in the end. This also demonstrates that the corruption can be beaten, but as we've seen from soul BF and his skirmish with BF in the most recent corruption series installment from PhantomFear, it has to be beaten within, the core itself must be exterminated, with some outside help of course. Example: Daddy Dearest. Even if Pico's hope is dwindling and he has to send Nene and Skid running, and the corruption is reclaiming it's hold on BF, Pico will always go out with a BANG! (er)

I don't know whether to cry from how good this is lore-wise and song-wise, or cry from the angst-filled situation. Like, you can tell Pico is struggling to hang on to hope and he's missing his shots on purpose because he doesn't actually want to hurt BF. Then when he sings/says "go Pico, yeah yeah, go Pico yeah" you can tell it hits both BF and Pico in the heart. Pico hiding his face and BF slowly coming back, then BF synchronizing with the beat of Pico saying his lines instead of going against them. You can tell that BF wants to say them too, to tell and scream at Pico that he's still there but he can't and it's physically hurting me

I like the small detail of boyfriends voice actually echoing whilst pico’s doesn’t. This really shows how powerful the corruption can be

I absolutely love the different poses for this song. Pico at some parts looks so physically and mentally broken, like he is physically hurting from the corruption, and the corruption is making him go insane as well. He also looks so stressed out, like he's trying to work out some way to help BF, but part of him know it's hopless and just wants to give up. As for BF, when shown partially uncorrupted he looks genuinely shocked, sad, and terrified. He can see everything that's happening, he doesn't want this, but can't hold on to enough of his consciousness to stop it. He looks like he's trying to call out to Pico for help, while knowing that there's no way Pico can hear him. The details here just say it all! (Edit: The song sounds so sad around those parts too... like desperately trying to cling on to hope that was lost long ago.)

I love how when most of the time when pico says "go pico go go" he's curling up more, almost like he's trying to boost his confidence and push himself to keep going!

An interesting detail: At the beginning, when the corrupt BF sings, his arrow panel looks a bit corrupted, but when a real BF appears, then the arrows become ordinary. Just a true love of detail.

The thing that I like about this version of the corruption is the style of things. It gives this sense of uniqueness that the other mods don’t. I feel a lot of the time other mods just stick with the line of events. However this adds a lot more freshness to things with Pico and Bf in the parking lot. Very excited to see how things turn out :3

I like this part 1:25, Because its like pico telling himself to not give up, you can also tell that he is getting nervous or scared? Because of the heartbeat. And it kinda sounds like deatmatch

with pico saying "yeah yeah go pico go pico yeah" and as bf joins, trying to uncorrupt himself, it feels like bf is trying to cheer him on and trying to push him into continuing his fight

i love this take on the corruption just because the characters arent totally braindead. pico actually tried to hide on the first day unlike the real corruption where he just stood in place

Gotta love how unique the style is compared to other corruption remakes, it definitely stands out in the best ways!

This really shows why the Corruption went for Pico first, Pico was almost able to break down the Corruptions defenses and bring BF back in just one song. Even though we all know that Pico is inevitably going to lose, he had Corrupted BF on the ropes for a full minute during his attack which started 1:28, and at 2:20 the Corruption starts to use everything at their disposal to survive Pico’s attack, from adding extra spiral patterns to multiple consecutive hold notes. Imagine what it would be like if Pico fought side by side with Daddy Dearest in Deathmatch! Pico, the living Legend of Newgrounds, is a dangerous glass cannon that needs to be dealt with immediately by the corruption, lest they suffer the consequences.

01:22 I just realize how detailed it is! The arrow key are corrupted and have color when bf is completely corrupted but when he slowly breaks free. The arrow keys become clean but the arrows have corruption in it

The most emotional and heartbreaking song of the mod. Pico expresses so many emotions with his voice and his actions that it makes me empathize with him.

This is a good informative experience because the overall plot is probably the same and that the spooky kids are the next week because skid is forced to run.

I love how there is so much going on in this one video. Pico is slowly getting corrupted, the expressions on Nene and Skid change, the corrupted demon dude chilling in the car, how the song has a bit of the song Eggnog and Pico inside all mixed together, and how and when Pico puts on the chains, standing his ground against BF, while barely breathing from the corruption. Because this is right after the mall takeover, corrupted people are having rap battles, chasing uncorrupted people, and spreading the infection all over town rapidly. This is just a small part of the larger whole going on.

Man this remake has gotten so much effort, and I can notice smaller details, like how the corrupted henchman rolled down the window, Skid getting scared of him slowly being corrupted, how the "showdown bar" as it's actual name is, more commonly known as the health bar, being slightly transparent presumably showing how hope is slowly fading, along with Pico trying really hard to not lose the battle as he drains your health quite a bit when he hits a note. Another detail I found interesting is that when Boyfriend becomes a bit uncorrupted, Pico seems to smile a bit to himself, probably happy he gets to see the real Boyfriend one last time if he can't save him. Keep up the good work man

What is probably gonna happen is that Pico will make a last stand giving time for Nene and Skid to flee while he buys time-fighting boyfriend.

I love how bf can actually talk, and how you actually see the corruption changing throughout the song without flashing like the original. It's really nice and smooth. Only thing is i dont understand the 'cut the chains' thing. It might mean something that just i dont understand or it might be in with the deep lore'

It sounds like a song of despair, sadness, regret, and most of all, corruption. Excellent job on this one, FNF corruption is one of my favorites, and your remakes just make it even more enjoyable, can't wait for the ost vid so I can throw it on the playlist.

i love how this shows the terrifying situation! i love how it also shows bf is still terrified cause this is something he's never experienced or encountered before hes terrified his spirit is legit probably broken and his confident is also possibly broken due to him being over confident! this is possibly what could have broken it which is why soul bf would have to step in to help him out (you know what im talking about) Im kinda excited to see how they do skid and pumps and senpais week along with mommy mearest and daddy dearest ya know if it happens..i understand if the quality is a mess its understandable this was worked on really hard its understandable if some mistakes happen.

The fact that every time you watch the video you see an extra detail is amazing (example being the moment when bf decomposes and there are 2 looks the corrupt one that encourages you to continue playing and the normal bf that looks at you inciting you to what the hell) all this mod is a great job keep it up (sorry if some parts are not understood but google translate)

I absolutely adore how Nene is shaking with rage (fear?) the whole time, gives a scary atmosphere. So pico was missing bullets on purpose, curios where yall are going with this story.

You know, despite everythin' people are saying here and me being pretty late and all, i feel like the corruption wasn't taking Pico seriously in this at all. It looked like it was teasing him that he was winning by showing bits of Boyfriends face, or maybe even using boyfriend to lure him into giving up (And Pico covering himself up whenever boyfriends face really appeared, not to mention his eyes still being red even with the "removal" of the corruption.) It all just felt like mocking with those slow, long and sad notes. Not to mention it seems to have worked, as while boyfriends corruption was being slightly removed - Pico's only grew larger. That's my take on it.

It’s perfect. When pico starts chanting his theme I always imagine it starting as a whisper to him self and then growing into a loud chant for the world to hear, but then fading back into a whisper the weaker he gets.

Let us see what differs from the original, I'm so excited for the epic banger of a track this is going to be. Edit: Omg you out did yourself you amazing creator, I'm so excited for what come next, and last I checked if you were "milking" from the corruption topic. Then you wouldn't have added dialogue, that made sense might I add, and made a very huge cliff hanger. The reason why I love this take on the corruption mod is because it’s actually made with full detail, the other corruption mod is really good, but this one has really good attention like if you realize in the song both pico and boyfriend are saying go pico, pico cheers himself on, and boyfriend when he starts to get uncorrupted starts cheering him on as well!

Good stuff. This is probably the best corruption content I've seen for a while now. Everything fits the scene, from the injured Pico to how BF's vocals echoing less when he becomes less corrupted.

That was a intense confrontation between Pico and Evil Boyfriend there, Pico Singing old Songs to try and get Boyfriend to break free, Only for Evil Boyfriend too eventually win out. Extremely well executed my dude! I do have a question about the Chain that's wrapped around Pico, Where exactly did it come from? And why did Nene need to break it before she left? Was it stopping them from leaving somehow? A bit confused at that part xD

The Trio's faces once the corruption starts getting through to them Pico keeps it cool the most although due to him being the most corrupted out of them, he does struggle alot Nene is the midway point, taking the shock but at the same time, trying to stay strong Skid is the most horrified of the bunch, his reaction to the corruption starting to spread on him obviously reveals alot (usually being immune to stuff like eyes of the universe) to him, also he's the youngest (being a 8 year old) so its reasonable Can't wait for Day 3!

If so then i'm REALLY looking forward to how you do those parts of the mod and how your team is going to make them! Keep up the good work.

Id love to see a mod where the curruption gets defeated! This gives me hope that this might just be that mod!

A neat thing I noticed is that once the corruption realizes that bf is getting uncorrupted it switches to the corrupt notes, which I think make the person singing them get corrupted easier and because the corruption is still mostly in control it forcefully makes bf sing them.

It's quite sad the part where Pico goes "Go Pico, yeah, yeah" because in comparison to the official FNF game, in this one he seems to be trying to reassure himself to continue

Day 2 is out after a long wait, and it was more than worth the wait! Nene and Skid are leaving the area and Pico is going to directly confront bf in day 3. I just have a few questions lingering in my mind 1: Who is that inside of the car? Is it just one of mommy mearest's henchmen or is it actually daddy dearest? 2: This will probably play a role later in the spooky kids week but where is Pump? Is he trapped in the mall and corrupted? If yes then i wonder how Skid will react in this timeline and what Nene will do to protect him 3: where is gf? She was inside of the mall when bf got corrupted by the lemon demon but she is nowhere to be seen the whole week now, where did she go? Edit: just subscribed. No way am i missing the rest of corruption takeover!

I understand that BF's eyes are supposed to be white and looking at Pico, but the red parts almost look like they're tracking the player. Makes sense, as you play as the Corruption, making you responsible for all suffering following the prologue.
