I absolutely love how Friday Night Corruption went from a simple GF reskin to one of the most high quality mods ever. I can't wait to see how the fight with GF goes, who knows, maybe we might end back with Soul BF lmao, incredible mod!

Incredible, absolutely worth the wait

So here is my head cannon on what is happening so far: BF in this week has been his own conciseness, trying to escape his own mind, while soul BF is basically an extension of BF’s personality and morals/beliefs. When in his mind, how soul BF acts is dependent of what BF believes him to be. This is the same for everyone in the fnf universe with the souls of their respective characters, as long as you have a healthy relationship with your soul, you can control your body and mind. But when the corruption takes over a character, this is the main thing that gets attacked. The corruption will make the character go into a deep sleep, cutting ties with their soul and allowing lemon demon to have complete control over their bodies, spreading the virus through sound waves. As an added layer of protection, the corruption also dulls memory of the character’s soul, making them wrongfully assume their soul is a manifestation of the corruption, catching them in a catch 22 with them selves. In BF’s case, the corruption overused BF’s body, which caused the corruption to weaken enough for BF to break out of its control. He mistook his soul to be evil, so it became evil. But somewhere during the second song, BF started to remember. He was realizing that soul BF was not actually his enemy, being the first corruption victim to ever make it that close to escaping his mind. Noticing this, lemon demon went on to settle this personally. He separated BF and soul BF to remain in control. All he would need to do is wait for BF to fall asleep again. But BF… he just wasn’t cracking. Even after what seemed like years. BF had a lot of time to think in that time, and imagined soul BF to be godlike in power. It ended up working and repairing the relationship between them. Now, they have one last send-off before BF fully breaks free from the corruption.

This one really felt like a send-off to the Corruption Mod in general, not just between Soul BF and BF. I know this isn’t the last episode (as seen from the end) but if this were it, this would be a good way to end it. Looking forward to new shit in the future!

the idea of bf making an imaginary friend to help him break free from his corruption confinement is such a great idea that no ones touching on. on top the fact that it ended up being so influential to him that it fully broke him out. not to mention that (a small theory of mine) you can see stars falling in the back when bfs flying so mayybeeee its the others to

A really nice detail that I don't see anyone else noting on is that Soul's Vocals gradually become more raw/less distorted as the song progresses, eventually flowing into a much more natural sounding voice at the very end

I love how the song ends with BF celebrating his victory, only to cut to corrupt GF and he's like "Oh crap... I forgot there's more"

( SOME OF THIS MIGHT NOT BE TRUE, I AM JUST TAKING OTHER EVIDENCES. ALSO READ UNTIL THE END *PLEASE* ) Some things i want to point out : - There's no health bar in this song, meaning you cant lose and no death or anything, just a nice little friendly song. - Soul's voice has been changing slightly over the past 3 songs, meaning not only BF is escaping his corruption, but also making Soul more neutral-like, resulting he is fading, just very VERY V E R Y slowly. - "Make it fast, I'm a busy guy." Does that mean Soul can actually shapeshift into different people and transfer between minds? Is he actually trying to help other corrupted people? (well, he did say he was just kidding and he wasn't even real, so the chances are low, but it could be possible. Apart from that, it's just a theory)

Soul bf is like your older brother who motivates you, but died on your early age as a child. He came back as a spirit to help you

So, this was what Boyfriend's mind looked like all this time: A beautiful mountainous scenery, with radiantly coloured skies to match along. It all makes sense: Boyfriend isn't fearlessly stupid, he just stays positive, even in dark times like these.

Imagine this, Every time BF makes a sort of a pure phase like this one and discharge, probably also the final-est of the final battle, the corruption notes fade the black and become shining notes, just to emphasize BF's character development? Would be epical as hell

Boyfriend's relationship with Evil Boyfriend brought me right back to Madeline and Badeline from Celeste. What a beautiful send-off!

0:22 OH MY GOD!!! THE REFERENCE!!!

While BF managed to remove the corruption from himself, he then remembers where he's at: on stage, where he took down DD, and is surrounded by corrupted beings. He isn't just shuddering because GF is in front of him. He's shuddering because he's literally surrounded by even his own friends... ...and his only escape is to brute-force them with his voice. "Let's End This!" - Soul Boyfriend This is gonna be great!

The feeling this video gave me was indescribable. its was a feeling of happiness, calmness, and it was overall AMAZING! the song and background combined perfectly! the change at 2:12 changed the feeling of the song as a lighter and more relaxing theme! Its amazing how far this series has come from just a simple modification to Gf's appearance to a full blown mod with amazing songs, new characters, and even new mechanics! Proud of you Phantom fear! :)

This whole story is so well crafted and every song so far expresses the development of each character and how the result of everything makes the story go onwards it makes me excited to see how the next song and animation unfolds

I do not know if anyone realized this, but at 3:01 when Soulfriend Shoryukens Boyfriend, His mic did the uppercut, implying that his soul was always in the mic.

I know I'm late to this, but I'm just honestly really impressed with this mod, it really just started because of Girlfriend's head on top of a Christmas tree looking creepy as hell when you're fighting the lemon demon, and now look at how amazing it's become so far! Hats off to you man, this is by far my favorite mod and I always eagerly wait to see what new things you do with this from here!

Boyfriend never cares about losing and his mind represents that he always stays positive and always walks forward even in fearful and scary times and places like now and just keeps on moving forward in life

The thing I find funny is that this mod isn’t even out yet, and still, it’s managed to gather one of the biggest fanbases for an fnf mod. with several fanmades, remixes, and custom songs. Amazing work, Phantom.

It's low-key crazy how far the corruption mod has come, It started with a Christmas decorations, remixes of songs and normal background, to custom songs, crazy backgrounds and custom backgrounds. I'm rly excited to see show this goes, especially since it looks Like Girlfriend isn't dead which is a surprise

The song, the background, and BF Soul's encouraging motives is sooo wholesome. This song surely brings hope the corruption that BF is facing, having the opportunity to expel the evil within him. This feeling relates to how most people feel (Including me), which is having someone to help you escape your dark place to finally see the light. I believe in everyone who is having a bad time, there are people who would help you through your tough journey. 😌

“So much for Making me the bad guy.” I feel like that was a joke on how some of us thought at first that he was the source of Bf’s corruption.

This may just be the greatest songs in all of FNF. Holy hell, everything from the transitions to the mechanics just makes it so perfect. (It also cements Soul as my new favorite FNF character)

I liked when boyfriend said "yeah" at 3:02, since he is completely free from the corruption now.

This entire corruption mod series is nothing short of a high budget anime. This has to be one of the most beautiful, hardest working mod ever. You can tell the amount of care and effort put into every new release and I appreciate it so much. Absolutely worth the wait everytime, and I can’t wait for more.

the amount of detail that there is in the mod is simply beautiful, all the effort they put into it is quite noticeable and you can see that it is done with a lot of love, I even dare to say that it is even better than the base game itself, can't wait for the next chapter

I’m always ecstatic whenever a corruption video drops, even with the long waits, they’re the definition of quality over quantity! Edit: GOD DAMN THAT WAS AMAZING. No wonder this took so long, this was beyond worth the wait!

It's really amazing how this game managed such a Loving Fanbase. For the most part, that is. I have never seen such dedicated fans who work together to express their Love for the Original Game this much. FNF has brought a lot of Music Creators and/or just Fans of Rhythm Games together. It's truly magical how far this game has come. To everyone who was involved in this Community, thank you for helping this game be better than ever, Mod Maker or not.

"I'm not even real" I have been saying it since August. Soul BF is just Boyfriend's imagination, conciousness, the part of it that kept on fighting. He beat the corruption by himself because Soul BF IS him.

And to think that we may have so much more to go before it’s all over… this is by far the best fan made series I have even witnessed in my lifetime.

I love how this is really the only upbeat and cheerful song so far as it really has nothing to do with the corruption since BF broke free of its control.

Ever time I hear this, I feel like that this is the closest FNF song that can be a great anime outro song that doesn't have lyrics. This song has the capability to make you want to cry every time you listen to it . It truly expressed that boyfriend will come back into the real world to take back what the Lemon Demon had from him, his life and the world as we know it. Thank you Phantom Fear for making this great series that had helped us through Covid-19 and now , keep it up with the animations and show it to the community that supports you.

Theory: what if the mod ends with soul bf becoming physical and facing off with the corruption's true form with bf. And all the characters looking on from behind bf as he freed them from the corruptions control

Theory: The reason why GF is going to fight BF, is because Corrupted BF knew he was going to lose at the end, so he attempts to use GF, so he can get defeated mentally and corrupt BF again.

This series is amazing. It started as a simple reskin, and became an epic adventure with high stakes and a banger of an OST. It deserves the popularity it has. Can't wait for the next Installment!

Absolutely beautiful. I love the soundtrack for the last few songs, especially this week and dad week. I hope you go back and make the older songs faster/harder, or even copy the erect difficulty idea. Because in my opinion, I think it would make more sense that the corruption be hard to beat. Edit + idea: Change the note textures back to normal for the parts where BF is winning against the corruption
