I just wanna say that I love how clever the names of the characters are. Shuri and Ken make Shuriken and Ken Tsukimori is a play on Ken Sugimori, one of the main artists for the Pokémon franchise

Well except for the massive lag spikes at the start of the songs that usually get you killed because of the insta kill notes that for some reason are at the start of 2 of the songs, the long cutscenes that you can't skip and replay when you die (your fault or not) and sometimes the textures just go berserk. This was the most glitchy and broken mods I've ever played. I'm on this video in the first place because I got sick of watching the same cutscenes just to get fucked by a lag spike and have to watch it all over again. So I hit up Freeplay and watched the cutscenes here afterwards.

This mod in a nutshell: Cool lesbian ninja ladies. Also: For anyone who's wondering what the name of the last song is, It's called Otousan no Tatakai, which roughly translates to " Dad's Fight ". I'm pretty sure it's just Dadbattle in Japanese tho. And to go with this fact, you can see art of double D behind Shuri & Ken, as a demon. Y'know- cuz that's what he is.

Like, this is a really simple and well put together mod, a new mechanic added in every song, and then the extra song just being basically a flavorful victory lap. The animations are also solid on the girls, and the background is pretty nice as well. The only real complaint, if it is really one, is the little dodge animation they gave BF/GF when interacting with the kunai/sword doesn't look like it registers correctly all the time, like it will stutter the animation instead of playing it out fully even if other notes not being pressed right after. Otherwise, just really top notch work.

Fun fact: In the feodal japanese society, a peasant's life had more value than the one of the shinobi. They were more badly considered than slaves. By the way shinobi didn't have katanas, just poorly done swords that broke in three hits. Most of their weapons were worthless and poorly done. They just served as distraction while someone disguised and infiltrated would kill the actual target. 1v1 versus an actual samurai, they'd die in two seconds. They sucked that much.

They’re actually not shurikens. they’re Caltrops, a small weapon thrown into the ground in clusters to stop the advance of ground troops. They’re constructed in such a way in that whichever way it’s thrown to the ground, at least one spike will be facing upwards.

I love these more challenging battles where there's creative hazards to either press or avoid in the songs that blend perfectly ,similar to updated Pico and Tricky! Happy to see the fun showdown of the Kunoichi/Ronin couple!

That was a sick ass mod. The story was funny and enjoyable as any good anime or manga and the songs were spitting fire in that classic flue, drum and koto guitar!
