Starlight Mayhem Rebooted but this time we battle a rockstar named CJ and his friend Ruby with new vocals along with a bonus week, a bonus song "It's complicated", and new FNF animations.
Will Boyfriend and Girlfriend be able to defeat CJ and Ruby in a duet match or will they end up losing? We'll be playing it on very hard difficulty for all Starlight Mayhem Rebooted songs.
Game Note by TheMaskedChris: Welcome to Starlight Mayhem: Rebooted! one day you decide to take your girlfriend to a local music festival to listen to some funky tunes, but what's this?! The current lead singer from the band 'On command' recognizes you from the crowd! Here comes CJ, a cute light headed band boy who has heard of your many music ventures, so he challenges you to a battle! will you be able to overcome the mayhem on this starry night?

Forgotten detail; If you check CJs old voice in options, you come across his idle being different. No head or torso. In Artificial Lust, Ruby's face expression changes to paranoid/frightened as she's really uncomfortable with the old voice. Which is something I really like about this reboot.

Notice how insane the detail is, especially with the band playing on time with the song. Not even just a random animation, all of the hand movements are on time too. Great mod

Ok, that Coda song is so good. It doesn't 'go hard' like some of the other songs in the mod, but the harmonizing between the characters and the switching between Cj and Ruby, and then also Bf and Gf works so well

The new starlight mayhem update is looking better than ever! CJ’s new vocals rock and Ruby’s voice actor was perfect! Artificial Lust is now great due to CJ and Ruby both becoming hearable. They also put GF’s vocals (maybe added in the release but whatever). The ending was unexpected and the actors were awesome! The art was fantastic and the sprites were smooth! This is one of my favorite improvement from a mod. On Command rocks! And thanks to the developers for creating this one awesome mod! 🎸🥁🎹

One thing I love about this mod is how they fixed the main issue I had with the original with that 2nd song. The vocals pitching actually matches the songs pitch in this version, and it really makes the song stick out that much more to me, which is why I love this mod.

I love this. I especially like the new left pose, better shading with the pupils, better idle animation frames, and WINNING ICONS for CJ and Ruby. This is basically awesome. ESPECIALLY LOVE THE VOICE DIALOGUE and CJ's new voice. I'm kind of confused with CJ's winning icon though. What's with the sharp teeth in his icon. Kinda suspicious if you ask me. And damn I even love the new week, looks awesome.

Better effects, animations, new mechanics, improved music, voices, presentation. In my opinion, this is what I call a good REBOOTED, if they wanted to do it, they have done it! I really like both of CJs vocals (old and new) but I don’t like Ruby’s new ones, I like her old vocals better. Still amazing and in my top 3! Edit: Also for the bonus songs, the new vocals do fit really well so eH I guess I like both. Still an amazing mod! Can’t wait for week 2! Also the cover of “It’s Complicated” makes me too happy-

This is probably one of the best reboots so far Instead of just revamping the art style and animations, theres new songs, mechanics, more story, a new voice (i am gonna miss the old vocals, like with agoti), and an improvement on old songs that sounded a little "off". I hope the team continues the great work!

Love this reboot, absolutely amazing new menu, some nice changes to the visuals of the week like the extra pianist, and the BURST mechanic is awesome and looks great when activated. I prefer CJ and Ruby's old shaded icons but other than that the entire mod is great

This new rebooted version is like 1000x better than what the old has provided. I MEAN SURE THE OLD ONE WAS PRETTY LIT TOO, BUT THE VOICE ACTING? THE NEW CJ VOCALS? RUBY'S SONG GETTING REMASTERED? For me what broke the mod for me was the fact that CJ's voice didn't mesh well and I couldn't find a way to make it work in my head to sound good, the new voice of cj sounds way better and I find enjoyment in listening to his. songs

And I mean that literally. people made memes about how strange his voice sounded. And I’m sure you’re probably going to say that, “at least the old voice was unique!” Yeah? Well, something being unique doesn’t automatically mean it’s actually any good.

Fact: Starlight Mayhem & VS Agoti were used the same system in the original but different in the (SM)Reboot & Entity Demo, the Reboot version are voice acted and soon in the Entity Full edition.(not the same voice actors)

Anyone notice the icons in the bonus? They transition into the different person singing by spinning into the next icon. It’s pretty cool

I love the little details in the background where if the drums or guitar or keyboard is heard in the song, the respective instrument player will play as if they're playing it; it's super cool :0

there was 1 thing i wanted them to change for the 3rd song, maybe for the duet part to kinda be like and individual voice for each turn like for example: turn 1: cj and bf turn 2: ruby and gf if this repeated i would have been very satisfied, this mod is a 9.8/10

I just have a PERFECT idea for the mod's mechanic. You may not move your opponent to the end of the HP bar. If you do that, he will die and you will lose too. You need to be somewhere in the center of HP bar to win. Hope this will be useful for anyone.

Starlight Mayhem was my favourite of the lot. Gotta say, it's still pretty high up there but the new new CJ voice loses so much charm and power. If there was a version of the mod with the "Funnier" vocal I'd definitely prefer it. Aside that, I love seeing this reboot! I got a little worried about the "New Mechanics" part as they're getting quite excessive in the mid community,. It this "Burst" mechanic (totally inspired by other rhythm games like Guitar Hero) is perfect for what FNF is.

I like that they run on a chart for the band members, it feels more fitting for them to LOOK like they’re playing the music rather than not even match up like they just have a set animation.

It's slightly sad that almost every mod is moving to psych engine, I get it, it's "better", it's liked for customization and other stuff, I do prefer kade more than psych though, anyways the reboot looks amazing
