The fact it took me until halfway through the second song to realise that pico being playable in the base game was new because mods have been doing it for years.

The fourth song is literally what I've always wanted from the game. Not just digital vocals that can occasionally sound eh, but having stories told via other methods with the song there in the bg but still as the gameplay focus. That last one made my day. Also I love the cut scenes and results screen too

One really neat thing, the track that starts at 1:51 is actually a remix of the track that plays in Pico's School as you talk to a boss, right before you fight them. Its been modified since the original release however, since it was taken from Hive's Ultrasonic Sound music track, so now the game uses a track that sounds similar, but is different enough, but hearing this instantly sparked my memories of the original, since it sounds so similar to it.

The first three songs are good with okay vocals and a fire instrumental. The forth song is literally just a fist fight lol

Okay, that fourth round fistfight is an inspired addition, I hope we get more "minigame" levels like this. Also YAY FRIENDS!!! Reminder that it took three years to get this far because what started as a freebee rhythm game made by 4 people exploded into a massively overfunded KS where they had to produce dozens and dozens of new songs, animations, and possibly? characters. I always knew it was going to take a while but it's clearly worth the wait! For the record I've gotten a lot of the physical rewards already like the record/cassette/CD. I'm probably a bit older than your average FnF fan so I wonder how many parents and other adult family/friends are out there watching and having a weird moment of seeing these Newgrounds characters come back after almost 20 years and knowing where they come from (because the common attitude around Pico's original game was a LOT different in the early-mid aughts). I hope it's creating some bonding moments!
