I have been following Ajahn Brahm for the past few years. But this meditation experience was a major turning point. Everything relaxed, yes. But the thought of the children in Yemen, the kids on the US/Mexico border, the Palestinians.... it all floated in my mind. Then suddenly, the thought that there was NOTHING I could do about anything struck me. I let go. And there was the small island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the waves, the warm breeze, the comfortable sand. I was there! And nothing existed but that environment. All pain, all worry, all concerns were gone. Thank you Ajahn Brahm for the new experience.

Thank you very much. These KZfaq channels, Dalei Lama, Rinpoche, etc have been my source for study for a while now. There is a Thai Buddhist temple on 49th and Julian street in Denver Colorado. The Abbott mahaphra young(please forgive spelling) asked my abusive alcoholic catholic female genetic donor if I could come study when I was a boy. I wasn't told about this until I was much older. I'm asking advice on how to return to the temple and study to become a monk?

Hi Leif, I happen to come across your question and thought to reply. So, depending on the geographical and Covid situation of Colorado, I'd say your best bet would be to contact the particular temple directly about your wish, and just see what happens. May you practice well. Kind regards, Louisa

Now we know how terrible the situation in this world is. Just writing comments or being informed doesn't help at all. Just meditating and praying doesn't help either. We know that so many children in this world are starving to death or raped every day. We also know how everyday nature is being damaged. Everyone finds this awful but the situation does not change noticeably. Together we have to give up or share our prosperity and also be ready to risk our precious lives for the good. Stop following temptations!!! Why do so many people risk their lives for evil(war) but very few risk for good(Peace) without a weapon like Jesus or Gandhi? We are Gods, we are Buddhas we are stronger than nuclear weapons. Sooner or later we ALLdie without exception. Let's wake up collectively and save this suffering world together fearlessly!!!🙏🙏🙏

Language is such a primitive tool. I barely read books so my vocabularies are limited. Who am I??? I am just "IT". Unimaginable, Indescribable, and Unspeakable self beyond the concept of God, religion, or Enlightenment. The total emptiness of ego. I came from the past and at the same time I am coming from the future and I am existing and dying in this present moment continually. When my ego passed away 22years ago the word SUNYATA popped out in my mind. At that time I never heard of that word so I didn't know the meaning. To find out who I became I gave up all my possessions except the clothes I was wearing and I put myself in danger many times on purpose. I also lived as homeless on the streets. I was free and fulfilled with my true self (god /buddha nature), I didn't suffer at all. On the contrary, I was thrilled to live that way at that time. Since then I have tested myself over and over. Now I am aware of my abilities powers and strength that's why don't need any blind followers, ashrams, temples, churches, or money. I don't even need to be worshipped. ⚠ I offer the truly "awakened humans"to become" ONE MIND"with me and fight for the justice of the world nonviolently without fear of death.⚠ * I remember Jesus as if I was him. I remember St. Francis as if I was him. I remember Buddha as if I was him. I know so many things which are not written in the Bible or scriptures. Mostly when I am talking of Buddha or Jesus I am talking from my remembrance. SUNYATA (the emptiness of ego fulfilled with true self)🙏🙏🙏

I've watched the comments on these Buddhist channels for year's now. I've noticed they never answer a single question. Is this the example of compassion, respect for life and spiritual enlightenment? Is that truth? When did enlightenment become like a conman pleading the 5th amendment not answering? I'm going to keep asking questions on all these channels now, to directly prove the truth. Can't even discuss the dharmma openly. What are you hiding? At least the Dalai Lama used my words in his new year's blessing, thank you.
