Hi Bec, I love your jumpsuit and looking forward to seeing your new one too. When you said you like a drawstring I wondered if you’d seen the style arc Eadie dress and jumpsuit that both have a waist drawstring. I’ve just had it printed and can’t wait to start mine x

Your Carmel jumpsuit is lovely. I do like the Jennifer Lauren jumpsuit pattern, can’t wait to see what it looks like sewn up. I have just cut out a Jennifer Lauren Emmie Tee and I’m looking forward to seeing how that turns out. I love the TATB Billie too. Happy Sewing!! ❤😊

Great vlog as always. Well done for persevering with your jumpsuit you will be taking it in after a couple of weeks on Slimming World. I have the Billie my husband got it me for Xmas must make it up ❤❤

I think your Carmel looks great, but I feel your pain on the struggles to get it sewn up, having had a similar experience myself this week on a make. Loving the look of the Jennifer Lauren jumpsuit. I'm really sorry that I'll miss the opportunity to say hi to you and Adele at the NEC. I'm going Friday and Saturday. Hope you have a lovely day on Sunday. I'll try not to buy all the brightly coloured fabrics before you get there! Xx

Love your Carmel Becki , glad you found the zip tutorial useful, one other tip is stabilising your seam with a strip of interfacing where you’re going to put the zip in in that kind of fabric it’ll make it easier to handle during your zip insertion and less likely to stretch out, lovely plans can’t wait to see them made up x

Have you seen the invisible zip tutorial from Lucy at Sew Essential, it's brilliant.i haven't seen Rachel's, so don't know how they compare, but Lucy's solved most of my issues, especially lining up at the top and joining the seam St the bottom. Have fun with your plans ❤❤

I felt your pain with your jumpsuit issues. For the zipper being too long on one side, if the neck has a facing, go in and increase the seam allowance on that one side. You can probably do that with bias tape as well. If you haven't understitched yet, it avoids having to pick out stitches. I think it might be a problem with the fabric stretching a bit when sewing the zipper in. That's happened to me many times.
