I gotta say that while I don't want them to drag the story out to where Jason don't arrive until season 3 or something, but I also don't want them to rush it. That's what makes a series different is that they can take their time to explore some other stuff.

I haven't been this excited for a movie/series in a long time. I think most fans would agree that Jason should be the main focus. He is why we watch the franchise, but there's room for Pamela's story as well. I think letting her story be told through flashbacks in Jason's mind would work well. Then we can see how Jason saw everything and that's what made him the way he is. It's like a severe case of over projective Mommy syndrome. It's kinda like since she died he become obsessed with carrying out her revenge.

Has it been confirmed that its set in the 80s? I really hope it is that time period, a modern day setting wouldn't feel right.

I'm fine if they take their time building up to Jason. Especially if there's going to be a movie, let the show be a little different and focus on Pamela a bit more before getting to Jason. I don't think they're going to get much mileage out of just doing Jason killing a bunch of unlikable, cannon fodder camp counselors. Yes, you need that, but I think they do need to try and spruce up the story and the characters a little bit to hopefully keep people coming back for more. Ans as far as I'm concerned, keep Blumhouse away from Friday the 13th and Freddy for that matter.

From what i read when they first talked about the TV show was Jason wasn't even in the show at all. But the show was going to talk about Pam and Jason's father. I know the father was only mentioned a handful of time only in the comics.

I'm a Myers girl until the day I die, but I'm definitely curious to see if finally hockey puck is back after 12-13 years. Though 2025 looks like the year of legacy slasher shows (F13 and Halloween) as well as new franchises (Thanksgiving. )

I've been covering all this on my channel too, as I'm a MASSIVE F13th fan; what makes me nervous about the Crystal Lake series is the allegations of misconduct against showrunner Bryan Fuller stemming from the set of the AMC "Queer for Fear" horror doc. I am optimistic though, and have spent a lot of time pontificating what the show will be. Also to your point about it being a period piece, YES ONE MILLION TIMES; it doesn't need to leave the 1980s. The movie is supposedly being handled by Blumhouse, which given the results of the DGG Halloween trilogy; I have zero anticipation for what they're going to do with Jason; it still can't be worse than Platinum Dunes in 2009 though. Great video, and I just subbed to the channel, horror game recognize horror game💯

I'm a huge fan of both Killer Slasher's Michael Myers & Jason, l always wanted to see Michael & Jason in a movie together being related to each other, Michaels Aunt and Jason's Aunt knows about this secret, but the Aunts was very mean and cruel to people as well, but when Jason & Michael found out that they were related the killing spree really started Dropping and Michael & Jason had to go and kill they're Aunt's Word had got around that the killer Slasher's was related this made it even deadlier, l hope Rob Zombie & John Carpenter can do something with this Killer Slasher's Film for 2024 or 2025 the Evil Cousins come home, Camp Crystal lake slaughters and Haddon Field Nightmares nobody's safe The Evil Cousins are back l would love to see this movie then killing together a unstoppable force....

so it sounds like this thing won't be able to ignore (like all cannon fridays have) the major plot problem, if pamela voorhees went out and murdered people/sabatoged reopening of the camp numerous times, all in the name of "those counselors let my boy drown" but really he lived through that drowning (or came back undead later, and if so how/why, also didn't appear to BE undead for fridays 2-4) to then go on a never ending (except for being killed in 4) murder spree himself while having a shrine to his dead mother and supposedly witnessed his mother's beheading, how was she never aware (for decades this) he was alive? also please please don't have alice be rewritten to not have died, you can always have the actress just play whoever else (even if that's pam voorhees in the backstory). regardless of how they write this up though, gonna be hard to believe pam voorhees (no matter how insane she might've gotten) somehow didn't know jason was alive prior to friday 1. she for sure lived in the same area the entire time, jason it'd be hard to believe didn't. unless he what just showed up after being somewhere else for decades just at the end of friday 1? in all her decades of creeping around the area, including destroying other attempts to reopen the camp prior to friday 1 hadn't noticed him living in those very woods, not far away at all if friday 2's shack was around prior.

But Betsy Palmer already is gone. She died back in 2006. There is a year one that happened. She passed away the only one that they can bring her character back is to have someone that looks like her for it. There’s only one that is going to work, but since we don’t have Betsy Palmer no more since she died in 2006 so I think that you should know about that and all that so I think that you need to understand that I’m actually looking forward to the new Terrifier I would not mind going to see that one but the only way to bring for 13th Franchise and have a come to complete and it would have to give us a backstory of Pam Voorhees, and give her a backstory like a beginning story before there was no movie it will be known as a prequel and movie ticket place after Jason act, or say Jason 10 where he comes back to life one final time and this time around So the only way for that to happen is to get a prequel and maybe maybe Jason 11 or something like that, so just telling you that the only way that we get the character of Pam Voorhees to return that we went to do it at as if we get someone Older or the only way to do that is to do a prequel to the movie Sean Cunningham to do it or something
