Love how he's finding these movies funny now. That's exactly what we did back then too. First couple were a little scary, but after a few movies, you look forward for the inventive ways they come up with when killing the victims.

Fun facts: Tommy's friend was played by Ron Palillo who was best known as *Arnold Horshack* from Welcome back Kotter. -This movie was lit in such a way, that if you watched it in black & white, it would look like an old school 50's monster movie!

Nobody ever expected this one to be as unique and smart (in the context of Friday the 13th lol) as it ended up being. Part 3 is my personal favorite of the series (and the first horror film I ever watched), but this one is the best one, by far.

It’s the only one that got some good reviews,it’s definitely the most well made but I like them all(well except for 8 but that was because how much they built it up in the promotion only for it to be a dud that barely took place in Manhattan)

@@EOMReacts my bad I should have explained it more. The old man's quote to the screen was the production company talking to the audience who enjoy Jason movies. They wanted to get away from making Jason movies because they felt it was lowbrow and sleazy, but people kept demanding new Jason movies. The old man calling people strange is the producer talking to the viewers who enjoy the movies in short.

I couldn't wait til you got to this one! This one and Part 7 are great. I like this Tommy way better, there's a better plot too. Jason is my fave slasher even though 3,4 and 5 are very questionable imo. But again, I may be a bit biased because I did go to camp across the lake from the filming sites in NJ☺. Part 7 had a great concept with the whole Jason vs Carrie aspect but the movie was horrible. Zero chemistry between actors, horrible acting and the MPAA butchered this movie so bad. Pretty much every kill is a cut away. Best looking Jason of all the movies but the movie itself sucked.

Michael Myers is scarier, more evil, and more mysterious than Jason, while Jason is stronger, more creative, and more proactive than Michael. Michael is in it to scare people and be a total dick to them before/while killing them. Jason is in it for the numbers, he stalks his victims a little bit for the first half of the movie, just to make sure they’re isolated and not going anywhere, then he makes his move and once he does, scaring them and being an asshole to crush their hope is secondary; he’ll do it if the opportunity arises, but it’s not his priority. Michael will try to set up his murders like a Halloween prank; Jason just kills them as hard as he possibly can with whatever he happens to be holding at that exact moment and then he starts thinking about how he can use the body to mess with the minds of whoever is left, IF he feels like he has time to pause and do all that. If not, he immediately moves on to whoever is next in line. As for Freddy, well, he’s a cat who’s got a mouse by the tail, at all times.

Thing to remember about the Battle Of The Slashers: Jason Vs. Michael, is that Jason wreaked all this carnage while sitting out TWO of his movies! I mean, Michael did sit out one of his too, but still. The sheer amount of bodies that Jason has piled up.... let alone the manner in which he has piled them up, puts the crown on his head.

This and the Friday the 13th remake are my favorites. This film was meta, had actual character development, had us care about other characters too and had a GREAT story and retconned Jason being cremated in part 5. There's a KZfaq Series that continues this story and narrative, Never Hike Alone I, Never Hike in the Snow and Never Hike Alone II. Their all free on KZfaq. They bring back both the OG actors of Tommy and Rick from this movie, and brings everything to such a great conclusion in Never Hike Alone II and so many great nods to 6 from that. Including the Red Dot joke lol. NHA II came out Halloween Friday the 13th this year and was such a big hit. Tommy is literally my favorite final boy next to Arkin from The Collector. Tommy's a great final boy because he's the only Jason expert in the whole franchise. Never Hike Alone II is alittle over an hour long and is probably the best 'fan film' I've seen and really breaks records because it actually brings back the OG actors and the things they were able to do with the budget were so great and Thom Mathews is still a great actor even in later years. He could be the Dr. Loomis of the Jason franchise at this point :D.

J, u said at the beginning, "who would bury Jason?" In the original script, the writer-director introduced the idea that Jason's father had been paying the caretaker to watch over his son's grave. However the studio Executives put the kibosh on that idea because they felt it might take the series into, unforseen territory so to speak; as opposed to the story formula they had been following since the first sequel. Personally I would have loved to have seen that come to pass. I felt this entry really brought the series back on track, and just made it really fun & enjoyable. Unfortunately some of the kills were killed by the ratings board, but nowhere as bad as in part 7. Jason Lives and the Final Chapter remain my two favorite entries in the series to date. Although the Jason zombie makeup design in the next installment remains my favorite "Jason look" to date. J, 2 things, 1 wait till u see Kane Hodder as Jason 7-X. 2 I'm glad u had a ball w/this, and as much as I love Michael, he ain't got 💩 on Voorhees. Been in Camp Voorhees since 1991, age 8💀🤘

I'm a Jason man too. Dude does NOT play lol. With that said to this day my most memorable movie going experience that has yet to be topped was Freddy vs Jason. The hype and trash talk that happened during the week before it released, IN the theater during the movie and even after was one of the craziest things I've ever seen movie going wise. So I feel you about being on "Team Jason" lol

The Halloween series has 4 different storylines. 1. H1 and H2 2. H1, H2, H4, H5, H6(best version is the theatrical version) 3. H1, H2, H-H20, H Resurrection 4. H1, H 2018, H Kills, H Ends The Halloween series originally meant to be a anthology which is why Halloween 3 is a different story. But when H3 was released they realized people wanted more Michael Myers. Also it’s 2 complete remakes by a director named Rob Zombie who came out with H 2007 and H2 2009.

I like the detail the FX crew put into the prop Jason in the casket. Look at Jason's left hand and you can see the split from the machete when Trish from the Final Chapter rammed the machete in Jason's hand.

The Final Chapter will always be my favorite but Tom Mcloughlin done an awesome job Writing and Directing this one. Jason Lives is my second favorite. I Think part 4 and 6 go together great.

Part 7 has the best looking Jason design. You see everything that happens in the previous movies. Also the recap is back in the next.
