Such a lovely interpretation of this wonderful piece, the man knows his Chopin. :}

I am so glad to see and hear the wonderful Gulda playing this piece again. I was genuinely upset when this video was unavailable for a while. And, of course, there's that stunningly beautiful woman in the audience, too. Oh joy, oh rapture... Jolyon

Dear Mr. Gulda, Do you remember that, after you had the first prize at Geneve Competition, you gave a recital at Rio de Janeiro? My piano teacher invited me to go. Great emotion to hear you!

@@varbalvarbal oh! What a shame! I’m very, very sorry! I’ll never forget him, his wonderful way of playing! When he came to Rio, he was 19 years old. Great musicality! I remember a woman began to cry after he started.

Very interesting interpretation. I really appreciate how he brings out some themes that often get buried in the beginning.

I dedicate this Chopin's masterpiece performed by the master Frédéric Gulda to a very special woman for me :Narica Quintavalle, my first true unique unforgettable and irreplaceable love of my life. A beautifulst woman, fashinating, very sensible and pretty, very interesting and patient, and very, very profound, elegant at the same time sporty, very intelligent and knowledgeable, very expert in Laws and Arts in every area of knowledge meant, just a little melancholic, but above all unique and unforgettable and irreplaceable love of my life. Narica you have taken my heart and my soul and I love you so much, even more everyday passes. A special and a passionate and strong kiss and hug of love, darling. 💝💝💝💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️😍😘💝💝💝💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💕💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💝💝💝💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️💘💘💘💕💞💞💞🇮🇹🇺🇦🇷🇺🇺🇸🇬🇧🎄🎅🎅🎅Massimo

Seriously? Have you seen her when she was young. Practically sex on a stick. And I agree she is naturally very 'beautiful'. This would be one of several characteristics of her's which I would say adds to her overall sex appeal.

Very lovely interpretation of a beautiful piece. Panning to the woman in the audience is distracting and annoying. Especially since he is so much better looking than she is :) For another wonderful performance, listen to Alicia de Larrocha.

It's not Martha, and her time with Gulda as a student had ended decades before this recital.
@adpynacker111 жыл бұрын
Yes, this is pretty good playing - quite poetic and finished. Unfortunately, I find it impossible to eradicate the memory of hearing Gulda play the most slap-dash and casual piano recital I ever went to - at the Lucerne Festival in the 1980s. To my way of thinking he was always overrated.
