Because my school is so small, we never had lice checks. Once there was a school wide lice outbreak and it lasted a while. It was awful. If you've ever had lice you know how annoying it is to get out. By time the second wave was over, my mom was fed up with it. Now she is our school lice checker officially and comes in twice a year to check my whole school, by herself, one person at a time. Just thought I'd share this random story here😅 This is still definetly the best lice check I've ever gotten tho😴

Maybe around 4-5 years ago I told my mom that my head was unbearably itchy, she dismissed it and got me head and shoulders for dandruff. Weeks before that I had a sleepover with a friend who later said she had lice, let my mom know, still dismissed it. I had lice for about five months before she noticed lice in my hair once. We went to a lice treatment place and they said it was the most they might’ve ever seen. Don’t be like my mother, if you think you might have lice, get a second opinion ❤️

that sounds like absolute hell. when I got lice, I was covered in bites all over my neck and scalp, and the treatments lit all those bites on fire. I can't even imagine the pain of months worth of bites, I send my condolences to your scalp

I relate to this. I told my mom for 2 weeks. Eventually she caved. I did the math, I had approximately 4000+ lice, including eggs and nits.

As a kid in primary/elementary school we had lice checks every Friday. On Friday morning the ladies would come in wearing gloves and would use these little wooden sticks to look through our our scalps and it felt so amazing. Kids would go to the bathroom and come back after getting checked and say that they didn’t get checked so that the ladies could look through their scalp again. I used to always fall asleep when they would check my scalp. They didn’t do that in my middle/ highschool and I miss it so much.

Since that one time I had lices, I get scared when my mom, or anyone really, checks my scalp. I have a loooot of hair, and it took hours to get rid of everything. That being said, asmr videos with this concept is oddly relaxing! You also make it feel less intimidating.

Yeah bro saaaaame my sister kept giving me lice cuz it was an outbreak in her class or whatever so we go to professionals when we get lice (almost every two years) so I get nervous when we have to get a monthly check at school 😬

As someone who has their eyes on two foot long stalks bent off to the left of my head this was such a nice POV vid. I used to be able to check my own live as a kid because I could see my own scalp. So no one would check for me. The one time someone did it felt so nice that I was sad no one did it for me more. This was a lovely throwback to that one time. Very tingly. The egg song was nice too :)

It’s so interesting how many versions of the tingles rhyme thing there are! I moved around a lot as a kid and heard probably a dozen different versions, but I had NEVER heard the orange juice squeeze or the ocean breeze bit until this video. I’m pretty partial to the “now you’ve got the shiveries” part I learned from Goodnight Moon (in place of “did you get the chills”) but this video is my favorite example of the rhyme I’ve found so far. Something about the orange squeeze is super soothing haha Anyway you’ve been my most watched creator for many months now and I appreciate you so much! ♥️
