There some very good moments, but the 2nd half was just really distracring because of the different time signature and the ending was just so sudden it just became awkward...

Who ever the mixing engineer was, he or she did or horrible job. The backup vocals are barely audible, the guitars are too far back, only the Lord knows what the keyboards are playing, too much kick, the acoustic guitar, why did he even bother to play it, it's lost in the mix and it's compressed beyond belief. The bass sounds muddy, the hi-hats and cymbals where are they, I see them being played but no sound.

A FRIEND of God??? Not a SERVANT of God? Not a CHILD of God? Nothing biblical about this song, if anything, it’s insulting by bringing the superiority of God down to the inferiority of man’s imperfection. Whatever happened to humility before God? Now these people just treat him like he’s Santa Claus.

That single verse was talking about Abraham, not you; “And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.” James 2:23 KJV IN FACT, if you read THE WHOLE CHAPTER instead of taking one verse out of context, it is talking about FAITH WITHOUT WORKS. But you didn’t read the whole chapter, did you to see what the real message was? Here, let me back up your misuse of the Bible a little bit: “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” James 2:20-24 KJV Hmmmm, it sounds like the Bible wasn’t talking about you being a “friend of God” when you read it properly, does it? Totally different message when you read the word of God IN CONTEXT.
