Do you guys believe Team Kill would work in a community server? Or horrendously fail 💀

I maintain that removing team damage was the single biggest nerf the spy class ever received.

"decided to see if i could get it working" is a very strong term for literally just inputting a console command

Some deathrun and community vsh servers turn friendly fire on at the end of the round, and when most players survive it turns into an instant chaotic massacre

So now u can jump with SHort circut using ur own teamates

this was a lot of fun to play with and a satisfying reality as a medic with 800 hours.

Spy checking is going to be *very* interesting. Imagine thinking that you got a dead ringer, presses tab and saw -1.

Spy would be so much better with friendly fire since people are less likely to spy check and you can ask a teammate to trigger your dead ringer

So: eyelander, bazaar bargain and air strike go brrrrr; u can sacrifise your scouts for metal to upgrade buildings; u can stack manmelter crits with one willing teammate. Balanced gamemode

if they made friendly fire similar to rainbow six siege's where if you kill your teammates too much damaging them causes you to hurt yourself instead I think it would be a cool system. Also it would make spy an amazing class unironically.

If this was the case, there would be so many griefers ruining normal matches.

I often loved using this with bots just to see how wacky bot games could get Turns out that FF still contributes to your crit bucket too I also believe that changes to damage multipliers with basic commands results in only hitscan weapons being modified; rockets, pills, etc. did not change even at 0x (where miniguns are firing friendliness pellets of null damage)

team kill basically encourages trollers, which will get pretty annoying

I have found only one server with friendly fire turned on. It was interesting and made it so you had to be careful when spy checking. And surprisingly there was not a lot of griefers. It was years ago so I doubt the server is even still up.

I still remember there was an idle server that would randomly have this turn on (or it was an admin command) and everyone would murder each other in spawn. With instant respawn a thing on the server, it was impossible to lock it down

The whip could actually be a very good trade-off with Friendly Fire because you are trading at teammates speed however they get damaged in the process however you would have to remove random crits from the whip

This reminded me of a weapon for spy That I imagined it's a knife that can be used while in disguise and that doesn't remove the disguise but it doest do any damage but the main part is that on backstab you inflict a effect on the enemy you backstabed that makes them vulnerable to friendly fire and the point of the weapon is that you disguise as someone you inflict the effect on them and you trie to make him killed by he's own team note that the victim can't know if he has effect on them so what do you think is it a good weapon

Imagine theres a penalty for when you friendly fire just like R6 or CS2. Spychecking would be a NIGHTMARE, imagine being banned just because you thought your teammate scout was a spy

suggestion: you should change the title to "Friendly Fire is ACTUALLY in TF2" because no one knows what "team kill" means

Tbh, even some servers turned on this. It just as normal as Tf2. People still being chaotic and perfer killing enemies. When rounds ends they’re just killing each other for fun.

It is also In orange box but only accessible to modders.

I think it would have been implemented if everyone's hp was buffed by 15% and the damage from teammates was reduced by 75%.

I saw this video in my feed for a few days, but thought team kill was like an overwatch term for team wipe and just thought this video was some boring ahh shit so I always skipped it. Why not just call it friendly fire?
