And at the same time, the red fox is hunted for sport with horse and hound /: just imagine getting chased by all of that to then get ripped apart

@@RaptorRockDrakeJesus The many ways foxes are still persecuted here is fucking disturbing and heartbreaking. I love foxes. We need to help them.

@@Weirdisjustabrownandyellowword Luxemburg is the exception. They stopped the hunt of foxes in 2015.

@@TheJacksnipe Do illegal hunts still happen though? Do they have a shooting industry that traps foxes in snares and kills them to avoid sharing with them? Do they allow fur farms, or have illegal ones? Do the foxes have enough habitat there or are they forced to brave human settlements and scavenge for food in bins, and risk being hurt by humans? Are there road signs warning people of foxes crossing? How many foxes are killed on the roads per year there? I doubt it's a completely safe place to be a fox, but it surely couldn't be any worse than my stupid country for them.
