I respect their decision. Friends is a story of a certain specific time that doesn't need a sequel nor a prequel, it is perfect as it is. Let's keep it as a time capsule for all of us

The oldest of them looks the youngest- Lisa Kudrow. The youngest of them looks the oldest- Matthew Perry.

Friends is more than just the characters, the set and chemistry between them captures New York life in the 90s, which is probably why they are so emotional since a lot has changed since then.

I think this is the closure we've all been waiting for. The show ended, the story ended, and I think we have to accept the fact that we have to move on. We need to let them be their own self and establish a career with characters apart from the character they played for before. Thank you for being our friends.

My heart broke a little for Matthew Perry when he said, 'I don't hear from anyone'. This was in response to Corden's question if they kept in touch with each other. People say it was a joke, but I don't think so. They all laughed to hide the painful awkwardness of the truth. I think Matt has had a tough time with substance abuse and kind of fallen away from the group. Anyone else think so? 💔

Fun fact : Paul rudd wasn't in the reunion because he was still stuck in the quantum realm while this was being filmed.

Lisa is a great example of why not to have plastic surgery. There is nothing more beautiful than to just age gracefully.

Is it just me or like the fact that Jen and David where really kinda feeling that passion and spark between them REALLY made this sad? Also when they where showing them when they where young and wrestling on the couch really made me bawl.

As much as I’d love friends to be longer as a series, I’d hate it to go down the same path as sex and the city and potentially ruin the story. I’m glad friends were over when they were.

It really makes you love the show on a deeper level knowing they’re still great friends with each other even after all these years. They have such a wonderful close bond, it’s so cool to see.

My husband and I fell in love during this show. We’ve been together for 23 years now. We watched tonight and laughed so much and it brought us back to our twenties and our early days together. It reminded us of our “must see TV Thursday night!” This show is a gift to us all. I know not everyone gets it. Our own children (mostly grown) don’t get it either. But WE do. And we know who our people are ❤️

I was already crying 10 minutes into the reunion. To see them all together on set again was incredible but also bittersweet. Because we'll never have that again. I just wanted to hug Matthew Perry throughout. He seemed and looked uncomfortable. I really hope he's doing okay. I think Lisa, David and Matt Le Blanc look fantastic. This reunion really felt like the end of something. I think it's a good decision to leave the show alone. Friends has been there for me through depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, happiness and joy. I'm forever thankful that these guys where there when I felt most alone in the world.

I just watched the whole 10 seasons for the first time last year, and this year I saw the reunion , it's an amazing feeling.

Even the background music was so well done, especially the violins and piano during the Ross-Rachel segment. I wept and wept. 😭❤️

103 minutes long, "Friends: The Reunion" was an extremely awaited episode, and honestly, it made me smile, laugh and I was constantly entertained. Obviously the episode could have been a bit better considering how long the fans had to wait and I might have more enjoyed the six playing the fictional characters from the show, but what we got instead was also pretty memorable, satisfying and wonderful. Unlike Ross and Rachel, I wasn't on a break while watching the reunion!

I never saw this, but it did predict that this was only going to be just this once. You all probably know by now about Matthew Perry's passing yesterday at the age of 54. They better not dare about doing a reboot, it wouldn't be the same without our beloved Chandler. Like Lisa said, the characters' happy endings don't need to be revealed. Just leave it alone. RIP Matthew

When Perry said "I haven't heard from anybody" that really hit me hard.

I'm thankful they got together just this one time. I never expected it or wanted it but seeing it does things to me. We don't need another reunion because we will forever have reruns and streaming and syndication to be there for us. So grateful for these six legends!

I don't blame them for never wanting to overdo it. They are actors, with their own careers and other projects to do. It's great that Friends has enjoyed a revival thanks to it becoming fashionable amongst a new breed of teenagers, and for that reason a reunion programme at this time makes sense but for them as individuals, it's probably time to put the show to bed and move on once and for all.

And also this show was there for me when I was going through the most toughest days of my life ....so to those haters who never watched this show and arguing that this is so overrated ......keep going....bcoz your arguments doesn’t make this show any lesser....Always and Forever FRIENDS🔥❤️

This was so beautiful! Honestly I was skeptical at first but watching it I just filled up with emotion! Absolutely loved it! And as for people mentioning Matthews slured speech it was due to him having emergency dental surgery, and as for him looking miserable just take into consideration he went through a lot of shit thru season 3-6 alot of memories would of come flooding back! Give him some credit

Honestly, I didn't even wanted the reunion to end. Friends has been special coz it has moved around the time when I had something special going around it on my own life. I recall those moments I had watching Friends and somewhere when the episodes end again and again I kinda remember how it all ended before. It's just, I am happy Team Friends decided a Reunion and for that special someone whom I'm sure watched it and smiled❤️. Always special.
