Everybody can argue over who the best Superman was, and make good points - but in my book, nobody else comes close to how George Reeves played Clark Kent. He was brilliant as the "mild-mannered reporter."

George Reeves was more believable as SUPERMAN. While Kirk Allan made a credible Clark Kent, he was a rather goofy SUPERMAN.

Jim I appreciate your stylizing TV Superman This edition is excellent. I had the opportunity to meet Noel Neill in 1975 st Tufts university. I didn't know it st that time but she was the number 2 pinup girl behind Betty Grable for pinup pictures for our military boys in WW2. She was still gracious and lovely.

When the men in the lead masks tried to kill everyone, Perry White asked about Lois and Jimmy, Lois Lane asked about Perry and Jimmy asked about Perry and Lois. Nobody asked about poor Clark!

4:50 Great Stunt. Reeve certainly had the courage to put his chest up to a spinning metal wheel even without real "teeth." 5:20 George Reeves, ex-boxer, was an extremely strong man; he picked up Noel Neill like she was a feather.

You know felt so sorry for Superman, at times he was stuck in very tricky and sticky situations, with villains. Ugh sigh if only Supergirl had been written a little earlier and was allowed to assist and help him. Though of course Supergirl wasn't written by the same creators of Superman was she? 😕....
