I love this pattern! I taught myself to crochet with a book when I had my second child! Never knowing I was having a daughter, who grow up with seven brothers! @@allaboutus4306 do the 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc and repeat that in each row till you have a total of 20 rows, I believe. I’m stuck at figuring out how to slip stitch to get in the middle of each additional row when starting them.

Hey can you tell me how you work into the bundle of 6DC rounds because she didn’t show that on the video I’m guessing you slip stitch to the middle of the 6DC and work 3Dc Ch1 3Dc but I’m not sure if that’s right she didn’t show how to do the next round so I don’t know if I’m doing it right maybe you can tell me???

@@therockstarlydia9715 Yes. You do exactly as she did for the round before the 6dc bundles and slip stitch into the first chain to connect the row, then ss into the middle of the bundle, ch2, and continue.

In the shells ....ya do * 3 dc chain 1, 3 dc in the same shell...skip to the next shell and repeat..you do this around the whole row..do this for 20 or as many rows as needed...hope this helps.🌷

My stitch count was off too until I realized that she stitches down the side of the end of the row. If you notice, her row slants down almost to a point at the end.

you're right. i had to redo 2 times to find that it is indeed wrong. if the first row 47, the second would be 62 not 64. therefore, u should add one more chain to the foundation chain. instead of 49, do 50. first row would be 48 second row would be 64

In row 1 you mentioned 47 dc but the total count comes upto 48 including the 2 skipped slip stitches which count as one double crochet.

What can I be doing wrong? I am always short stitches every row! It seems impossible this is pattern is correctly given. Mathematically the numbers per rows does not work.

When you chain 2 ( I did 3) you double Crochet in the same spot where you chain. The chains are not counted in the numbers.
