AGGRESSIVE and calculated; 3GS UK Limited is a private profit making company contracted by Manchester City Council, aimed at taking financial advantage via deception, of members of the British public. They have a vested interest in members of the public dropping litter. 3GS have been surrounded in controversy, with some of their worst stunts including the issuing of a FPN for feeding pastry flakes to pigeons. Sacked from various towns and cities of the UK, they move from place to place and leech around Britain.

I remember when I was a student nurse one of my lectureres was a traffic warden his supervisor called him in one day to berate him for not giving out enough tickets so the next day he gave out a huge amount of tickets unfortunately he gave the mayor's car a ticket and practically all of the council members he was fully dismissed from his job the whole system is corrupt and the public allows it !

What grinds my gears, is that you already pay council tax, to the council to get off their ass, and clean the streets in the first place. I understand if you do it purposely and walk off, but if you do it by accident and don't realise, then you've already paid for the streets to get clean. If you didn't, our council tax would go to waste and cleaners wouldn't have a job and be needed in the first place. Yes we live in a world of pay for the same thing twice.

I’ve always been curious. If you get a litter citation, can you take it to court? If so, at court do they produce the litter as evidence? I got stopped for a burnt out licence plate light. At which time the cop noticed a bottle of whisky visible from inside my backpack behind my seat on the floor. So cop charged me with ‘open container’. And dumped it out. At court my lawyer asked to see the ‘evidence’, which they ‘dont store’, then my lawyer asked which lab they sent the bottle to to have the unknown liquid tested, they didn’t. Case dismissed.

Seems the purpose of these trolls dressed in black is to go around in pairs and intimidate members of the public in order to extract money. If they are there to 'protect the environment', dress them in green and direct them to ask people to pick up their litter when they see it being dropped and only IF the person refuses, then escalate to a fine. I work in this field with the council, If you INTENTIONALLY drop litter and walk away you get a fine. If you ACCIDENTLY drop litter without knowing so you can't get a fine. If your informed and you pick it up no fine and if you refuse you get a fine. It's common to use your judgement. eg If you accidently drop a glass bottle and it breaks you don't touch it and you can't get fined. It's about keeping the place tidy not about profit where i come from.
