My dad was born prematurely in 1915 weighing 2 lbs,his mum hept him close to her breasts for first 3 months of his life.He grew to manhood and married my mum,had 10 children in poor times in Ireland.Now in 2022 and because of that mother's love(my grandmother), one hundred and forty descendants of my dad are alive and are living in various parts of the world.Thank you Father for your wonderful homily.Every abortion denies life to future generations until the end of time .

Lots of God Love . Miracle. Never abort a child my priest told me it's the worst SIN Never kill anything or anyone or even a baby in womb it's alive and has a soul and God loves all His Creation.

I was a naive 16 year old student. I had just left my biology class where we learned about parasites. Now seated in my English composition class we were directed to write a paper supporting abortion. I used the parasite relationship to describe the unborn baby's dependence on the mother to survive. Although I never had an actual opinion, the teacher forced me to defend his. The following year I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Suddenly His law of love was written upon my heart. A few years later I realized I was pro-life without any external influence. It has been 50 years now. I have defended the unborn every opportunity I get. 👼🙏

I remember years and years ago, when I was much younger, praying about the issue. I had been reading Scripture and knew that 'your old men will dream dreams and your young men will see visions'. So, I prayed. I didn't know whether I were at that time considered to be old or young, so I just prayed for one or the other...and I had a couple of Very Vivid dreams -- of babies swimming happily in the womb. They were very vivid. I have not forgotten. God came thru and told me, reached me. I praise God.

Thank you, Fr. Mark, this one touched home for me this morning. In prayer these last days, I’ve been reflecting on my younger life and how I was influenced by the so-called "cool" crowd as a kid and how I was willing to stifle the goodness in me just to fit in. The remorse I still feel after all these years is unbearable. You know the difficulties I’ve been going through these past couple of years. At least the scales have been removed from my eyes and at last I can truly repent.

The best relief from a remorseful mind, body, and soul is to pray a daily rosary preferably with fervor. A daily rosary turned all those bad regrets and remorse into dust. I had to ask the Holy Spirit what to do very specifically for each of those youthful sins. The first advice I received was to speak the words Jesus spoke “Get Thee Behind Me satan” and it worked. I noticed it worked even better if I grit my teeth and put some anger behind it. We must not allow satan to rule our hearts and minds. God’s forgiveness is much greater and always wins over the poking and prodding of that nasty serpent. As the Bible and Fr. Mark say, we are precious in His eyes. Blessings to you and to the whole world!

There is also a record that the Messiah from the Old Testament became a myth of Jesus and that there are still conflicts between different leaders and they do not accept this false claim. For another man-made book, mankind calls it "holy." How can this book be sanctified? In your precious life, what you did to find out whether they are telling you the 'Real' truth? These are full of lies and lies. Study that book in its entirety or history. Nothing is true, no. The Infinite, Abundant Creator did not create any of these. None of this is true. Self respect. Slavery operated in the first civilizations (such as Sumer in Mesopotamia, which dates back as far as 3500 BCE). Slavery features in the Mesopotamian Code of Hammurabi (c. 1860 BCE), which refers to it as an established institution. Slavery was widespread in the ancient world. (Today, Mesopotamia occupies modern Iraq) The first fact that emerges is it was nearly 9,000 years ago that slavery first appeared, in Mesopotamia (6800 B.C.). Enemies captured in war were commonly kept by the conquering country as slaves. Both Christians and Muslims captured and enslaved each other during centuries of warfare in the Mediterranean.[6] Islamic slavery encompassed mainly Western and Central Asia, Northern and Eastern Africa, India, and Europe from the 7th to the 20th century. Many slave women raised their children without much assistance from males. Enslaved women were counted on not only to do their house and field work, but also to bear, nourish, and rear the children whom slaveholders sought to continually replenish their labor force. As houseslaves, women were domestic servants: cooking, sewing, acting as maids, and rearing the planter's children. Later on they were used in many factories, instrumental in the development of the United States, where they were kept at lower maintenance costs Men-made foolishness by fake on earth, (including yours) 225+, human made religions and their idols worship. Civilization describes a complex way of life that came about as people began to develop networks of urban settlements. The people leading the religion; not even telling the truth Abraham (originally Abram) is the common patriarch of the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In Judaism he is the founding father of the special relationship between the Jews and God; in Christianity, he is the spiritual progenitor of all believers, Jewish or gentile (non-Jewish); and in Islam he is a link in the chain of prophets that begins with Adam and culminates in Muhammad. The Abraham story cannot be definitively related to any specific time, and the patriarchal age…. And more malpractices…..…. So is abortion never acceptable? Not even to save the life of the mother?
@JackieArmB
@JackieArmB 2 жыл бұрын
@@rodjan9141, there is NO excuse for abortion. Medical science is advanced enough to save both mom and baby under almost any circumstance. So MANY times, the Drs. have been wrong predicting that the child may die or be severely handicapped. Most times, parents admit that the special needs child has helped them to grow, that the child has been a joy (I didn't say easy) to them and they rejoice in their accomplishments. Women's crisis pregnancy centers help with anything and everything a woman needs, including monetary help, clothing, help finding jobs, pre- and post-natal care, counseling and classes for women AND men etc.... At the center I work for, it is only $385 (made in small payments) for ALL your prenatal care for all 9 months; labs, Ultrasound, vitamins, everything! Help is there for desperate women. Adoption is ALWAYS better than abortion, even if you're raped. A woman never forgets the anniversary of the day she was raped. Abortion just adds ANOTHER horrible anniversary that haunts that poor woman. Don't ever make a permanent decision for a temporary problem!

@@MrSparklespring it still is not the child’s fault how he or she was conceived . If you don’t want to keep the child all you have to do is to bring this child into the world . I am not sure how many people are waiting for adoption that unfortunately never happens . I actually witnessed this tragedy in my own family .. there were never any children for adoption . @Karen Z Actually, the phrase "praying to angels" is just another way of saying "speaking to angels" or "communicating with angels" (In this context, the word "prayer" is used to describe the process of speaking to someone or talking to someone. When we pray to God, we are communicating with Him. When we pray to angels, we communicate with them) The Bible never said that we are not allowed to communicate with angels in any way; it never said that we are not allowed to speak to them or talk to them. Besides, Psalm 103:20 is an example of someone speaking to angels

My dad died two weeks ago. He spent everyday that I knew him as a man who put God first. He couldn't get enough of God. Morning prayer's, Rosary and night prayers daily. My mom died a year ago and he ended up in a nursing home. Every chance I got I spent with him. He started to forget the mysterious of the Rosary. He had dementia and I refused to believe it. He was isolated for 30 days in the home, and since we had COVID, I couldn't go visit him. By time I got in there he was yelling out, and moaning and repeating things over and over again. The isolation literally killed him, he was shutting down and becoming delerious. Four days later he got really sick and they sent him to the hospital. By Friday, it was determined he was dying. His delirium was bad, he was agitated and needed to be restrained to the bed. I really didn't understand how it was his delirium and not him. I called a priest and he was given his dying rights. He hung on for six days, and remained in restraints. My dad was yelling out for help every two minutes. He was angry with the nurses. He was calm when he died. I stayed with him right until the end. My biggest fear was his anger. I know it's 1 of the 7 deadly sins. And it's been killing me. I've been so scared he went to hell for being angry in his final days. But I do know he was delerious and wouldn't have acted like that if he was fully aware. But this homily just gave me peace. If God loved my dad as much as me or even more, then he would know how much of a good man my dad was. And hopefully he makes it to heaven. After hearing this I have so much more faith. When my mom died I didn't question her making it to heaven. Thank you Father Mark.

Sorry for your loss. If your dad had delirium then he wouldn't have known what he was doing. My mum had a bit in hospital once. She was trying to get out of bed, saying she was going to see her parents (she was 87 herself) and got quite awkward and annoyed. Completely out of character for her. I wouldn't worry about your dad being angry in that state. From what you say that wasn't normally his character.

I had a debate in Canadian High School too. In our French class in Nova Scotia. I was on the pro life side and it was hard trying to express it in French. But I focused on the heartbeat . I’m sure the Holy Spirit helped me cause I liked being cool too but I had to do this! We won!

That was the boost I needed to stop thinking I should go protest planned Parenthood, and DO IT. You made me cry when you spoke of grieving the Father and His Love for and the infinite worth of every child of God...Well the Holy Ghost got me as the Charismatics say. Thank for letting God use you🥰

In Medjugorje, many years ago, I was told by one of the visionaries that “…I (Mary) take care of those children who have been aborted.”

Medjugorje is not approved by the Church, yet Fatima, Lourdes, and Akita have been approved look them up, God approves obedience, Great saint's have been obedient even during great test's where they have been taken away from their ministry, they adhered to their punishment, and we're eventually vindicated, and returned to exceptional ministry, God love's obedience, because Jesus was obedient to God even unto death, when Jesus asked the Father to let this cup pass, yet he followed by yet your will be done, and on the cross, Jesus cried Father why has thou forsaken me, yet he died to save us while we were sinners, God help us, by your death and resurrection we will be saved. Free will, has been given us, choose life, and life in Christ is the only way.

@@stephanielane1821 I agree. It does not dissuade me from believing in the apparitions due to my personal experience in Medjugorje in 1990. As a point of reference, it was over 10 years after Fatima apparitions ended before they were approved.

Psalm 139: 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!

AMEN!!!! CAN I GET A WITNESS UP IN HERE!!!! Fr. Mark…take me to church and speak to my sinful soul!! Praise God we have priests like you in the Church speaking the Truth - the inconvenient Truth - the uncomfortable Truth - the unbearable Truth. Yes, my dignity, my identity is in God and God alone! No one can define it for me or take it away from me. My soul is worth more than any precious stone or gem here on Earth. Human life has become so disposable and expendable that it’s no wonder we are in the mess we are in as a country, as a nation, as a world. I pray, the blessed faithful, will rise up and speak the Truth of the Gospel in and out of season, in good times and in bad times come hell or high water. I believe souls are so thirsty to hear the unquenchable Truth of Jesus Christ. I believe, also, that the battle lines have been drawn. In 2022, you are either on the side of Life or the side of Death. There is no in between.
