Frog & Henry playing "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes". Recorded July 8, 2023 in Bözberg, Switzerland at the second edition of the 'Forest For Musicians Festival'.
The song was originally written by Joe Burke and Al Dubin in 1930. We learned it from a recording made by Joe Venuti & His Orchestra.

Too bad, you're missing a bunch of beautiful passing chords/harmonies - which makes the tune so much more enjoyable and richer... It's my most favorite tune of all. For example, the first line: "I'm dancing with tears in my eyes" the "EYES" note has not one, but three chords (actually, two moving, passing notes). (If it's in C, the moving notes are: G, G#, A, G). There are SEVERAL more...
