The part about the frog calls was really helpful. I think Amphibian watch is a great idea.

Hey I live in houston & since its summer I've been seeing lots of dead bodies of toads, mainly the gulf coast toad, because they're being ran over by cars, & so far I've only seen about 5 in my back yard this year & 3-5 babies this year, along time ago like in 2008-10 you would see a lot of them in my back yard in the night.

There's a few chirping frogs in my yard that come out mostly at night after it rains. It's disheartening to hear that they are disappearing . I live simply and wish people would to. We need to change how we live and treat nature...

I just moved to Denison,Texas and I have a toad in my backyard. It has been out the last 4 weeks. I don't know what kind it is. Will it eat June bugs? We had then come out in March.. I see the toad's poop all over. I have also seen a lot of crickets. I'm wondering if I need to feed it and if so what does it eat?
